Great Video. Man I love her and this song. I loved it on the cd but it's a million times better live. Her smile is everything!

The BEST moment of her show live. This video is good- but doesn’t do it justice. Please release the whole show on DVD with the new songs too.

    What camera were you using?

For my latest videos I've been using the Samsung Galaxy S10+ phone.

Die Hard wow. I have a point and shoot I take. The Samsung takes impressive video.

Lots of venues and artists won't allow cameras of any sort (other than cell phones) now, even point and shoots, so it was a mandatory change on my part. The Ariana Grande concert wouldn't allow any cameras in and wouldn't allow even your cell phone into the soundcheck or meet and greet, making you put the phone in a secured and locked phone pouch, (that they unlocked after, before the actual show.) More artists are starting to take this approach, as well as venues, so probably sooner rather than later it will be cell phone or nothing unfortunately. The plus is that cell phone cameras these days are getting better and better quality-wise, especially if you are able to use them manually and choose all your own settings, (which is what I do.) The negative comes when you are doing virtually any kind of zooming, losing quality very quickly. I've discovered over the past few concerts that up to 2x zoom, (which is one of the three built-in lenses on the S10+ and many other phones with at least 2 cameras,) the quality is phenomenal, especially when originally recording in 4k, which I do. I can go up to about 4x zoom and still find the footage at least usable, but to my eyes the quality is substantially degraded, especially on a large screen. Anything above 4x zoom to me is horrible and so going forward I will probably try to limit everything to 4x zoom or lower, (with 1x to 2x being used as much as possible.)

Die Hard yeah so far, I’ve never had a venue not let me bring my point and shoot in or even question it but you’re right the cameras are getting every bit as good as an entry level dslr. My point and shoot shoots in raw and is fully manual. So I get great images. Wembley Stadium even still lets you bring dslrs in just as long as your lens isn’t longer than 12-13 inches.

Too bad I didn't live in England, because I would love Wembley Stadium for concerts! If I could bring in my mirrorless Sony A9 with one of my pro lenses, or even my mirrorless Sony A6000, all my videos would rival the quality I had on my Lorde and Sabrina Carpenter videos, (which were filmed with my Sony A6000 to my surprise,) and basically on par with an actual professional video, (minus all the proper lighting setup, etc.) I used to bring my Sony A6000 to all of my concerts and attempt to use it. A few of them I got away with it and nothing was said, a few of them I recorded a couple songs and then was confronted by security and basically told to stop and some of them I was told outright I wouldn't be able to use it before the concert started, so ultimately because I was having more and more problems with even bringing it in, and there were a few times when I missed a lot of stuff because I was recording and told to stop, I decided in the end it wasn't worth the hassle and the extra weight if it was going to be unused, (not to mention it is super hard to keep it held up recording properly for multiple hours,) and currently I have 2 phones I bring with me, a Galaxy S9+ and a Galaxy S10+, (which will go down to one eventually when I get the Galaxy S10+ completely sorted out.) Currently I'm trying to figure out how best to match the quality of pro mode video on the Galaxy S9+ with different software on the Galaxy S10+, seeing as Samsung screwed over its customers by removing the best video option on any phone, (pro video mode,) with the S9+ before upgrading to Android Pie. With the S10+ and different apps I think I've figured out how to match the baseline quality, but there seem to be issues that I don't see on the S9+ pro mode, so I'm seeing if there are ways to correct that stuff or if I'm just going to have to live with it and hope that eventually Samsung listens to its consumers and re-enables pro mode in the native camera app.
