    So glad you were able to see Pender Bay at its best. Perhaps on your next trip you could go to Kooljamin at Cape Levique absolutely amazing pindan cliffs.

    Just goes to show if you wait long enough you reap the benefits. In this case a better camp site. Seen this place on other videos and they all put it in a different perspective and no two video are same except for the heart rock.

    • @ebonywaugh7271
      @ebonywaugh7271 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah 100%. And it’s so important to not take other people’s word for it about a place. People can have totally different opinions on a spot, so it’s normally worth it to check it out for yourself and don’t have too high or low expectations on it before you go. Thanks for watching mate 👍

    Love the Rambling sessions. How's the jayco going on the trip. We are looking at a new Jayco. Have just sold one. Love your travels. So many nice places to see.

    • @onthewaughpath6552
      @onthewaughpath6552  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Lyn, thanks for watching :-) The Jayco is going fine. Like any van, we had some teething issues and after all, at the end of the day they're a box on wheels that's getting rattled around, so we'd be surprised if there weren't any issues. But nothing major that's stopped us from travelling, and definitely nothing from a safety concern which is the main worry we had when buying a van.

    I’ve been binge watching and loving your series and I’ve now caught up to real time !!! And you are now in my favorite place on the entire planet. The whole Kimberley region is spectacular, epic, ancient and sacred. I can’t wait to be let back in to WA (I’m in Vic so may be a while 😭). In the meantime I’m reliving my adventures through you :) xx

      Hi Robyn! So glad you found us and that you’re enjoying our series. Yes the Kimberley region is one of our favourites now too. It’s just awesome! Looks like things are really starting to open up in Vic now, so hopefully travel will start becoming easier between the states. Here’s hoping! Thanks for watching 👍

      Hi Jo. Oh no, we thought we’d gotten any sound issues sorted. When we listen to it on the laptop we don’t have any issues but think it’s different on a TV. Are you watching from a TV? Regardless, we need to fix it. Thanks for letting us know.

    Wow enjoyed watching the whole show, the ramblings was interesting and your information of your travels in that area was very informative,now know where to stay. The camp site was amazing I could almost feel myself unwinding in front of the camp fire and that view. Could stay there for a week no trouble at all,I would probably have to use my hiking poles to make it around those rocks but the colours and the beauty of the place would be worth it . Again beautiful photos of a beautiful place,thanks for sharing your journey. Finally got my phone working again,so glad I could catch up, hope I did not miss too many posts.

    🦋🇦🇺🍷 Love is episode.
    If you had to recommend to go around Australia 🇦🇺 for the first time from Melbourne ,what direction would you recommend .North up the centre or the east coast or Go west . I was thinking of doing the east coast first 🤷‍♂️ ....🦋🌈🍷🍷 cheers 🍻

    • @ebonywaugh7271
      @ebonywaugh7271 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi mate. Totally depends on the time of year. You can shoot through the centre quite quickly because there’s a lot of driving but not much to stop at in between. West coast and east coast will take you longer. If you’re from Melbourne, you might skip or go faster for some of east coast because you’ve seen before or you may be able to explore easier later on. So I’d suggest more time on the east coast. Ideally you’re north from roughly May-August and south Nov-Feb with a couple of months either side of those to work around your schedule. Hope that helps.

    Love watching your adventures. How does your Jayco go on the dusty roads. Do you get dust inside. Jayco gets a bad name for there Vans. I have a poptop Jayco and love it. Did you already have the Jeep before buying your Van. Would you look at other options as a tow Vechical.

    • @ebonywaugh7271
      @ebonywaugh7271 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Manny. Yeah we think the Jayco has been ok. We’ve not had another van so hard to compare. We do get some dust in but we’ve managed to work out most places it comes in and have covered those spots when we go on super dusty spots now so all good. We didn’t have the Jeep. We bought it once we’d ordered the van. It’s a great car. There are a few others we’d love too but happy with the Jeep for now 👍

      sometimes the harder it is to get there, the more rewarding it is when you arrive. But, yes, sometimes better just to get there with ease :-)

    should a person do the lap age 70 up ???

    • @onthewaughpath6552
      @onthewaughpath6552  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Joe. That's a great question. I think it really depends on the individual and their circumstances. There are a lot of people we see on the road who I would guess are 70+. If they're in good physical and mental health then I'd see no reason why not. And if there are concerns they'd probably just need a good support network or plan for if things go wrong. It can be quite physical hitching and unhitching etc. but again they'd just need to work out a set up etc that works for them. Hope that helps :-)

      It will be tough but at the same time can’t see us living in the van long term. It’s amazing but it’s exhausting too.
