theres not one bad song on this album. Not even one thats mediocre. every song is a fucking masterpiece and tells a different story. He's a genius. Im only now starting to fully appreciate this albums significance 5 years after hearing it.
Needed this nostalgia tonight 🥰 life is good and it’s up to me to keep it good and it’s on me if I fall and can’t get back up Thank you for existing Anthony Green❤ you’ve kept me alive in too many ways my whole life, and hearing this tonight for the first time since high school reaffirmed to me that everything was worth it and will continue to be forever🥰
Seen him last night in Pontiac, Michigan. He closed with this song and it was magical. A very inspirational Solo act including a very inspirational frontman.
This was AMAZING at the bottom lounge in Chicago. The two part echo he had going for like 5 minutes with the crowd was just sick as hell. Can't wait to see him again.
I keep coming back to this album throughout the years and I must say it has won its place in my heart as the "perfect piece of art" i know its just my opinion but I'm willing to die on that hill
i went to a concert in atlanta and it was awesome man. he didn't play this song ever but he did play seven years which wqas really awesome because the whole crowd went along with it. i got the video on my channel if you're interested. if not, then that's chill too.lol
Charm R Spyro The Dragon I'm assuming. It's a game on console. I know the game but I don't think the song would fit the game. Lol. Just my opinion though.
@@661EASTON89 The first Spyro had it's soundtrack composed by Stewart Copeland of The Police, believe it or not the intro sounds a bit familiar to that. But I agree with you, it's a bit of a stretch lol.
I caught a demon in a mouse trap One day behind the house It said, " Please let me free, I'll do anything" We came to an agreement, made an exchange Your freedom for my name, then he began. he began to sing Devil's song, won't be too long To finally see the evil you've become The Devil cries, all through the night I don't think there's a reason Devil's song, no won't be too long To finally see the evil you've become The Devil cries, all through the night This feels like a nightmare I was always told that you're a liar and not to trust But my name still means nothing and we're all still, We're all in the same spot This feels like a nightmare

Lol, I met him outside a House of Blues a long time ago, he was the nicest person ever:) I never heard Circa Survive, but I like the stuff he sang in SAOSIN & the song he did with Fear Before The March Of Flames, & now I love this stuff.
right around 4:18 there are chimes during my favorite part... I just revisited this album today and I can't hear the chimes on the spotify audio.. did they change it am I missing something lol 👹
Just saw him play with The Dear Hunter about 7 hours ago(with the dear hunter as his backing as well fuck yeah!) and I have honestly never met such a genuinely great guy, he has so much fun onstage and truly loves all his fans, perfect man. He also told us he had 14 teets xD
@@MrDarthpepsi Dude, thank you for this. I've never heard that in person (and surprisingly can't find any many videos of it on TH-cam) so that shit always puzzled me.
oh, dont worry about asking about religion, because anyone who would challenge you on that over a song would be stupid and their point would be null, but thanks for asking. i'm not sure what this song is about but it's likely that it's over a struggle for religion. Anthony has made many songs about religion, one being seven years, a personal favourite. that was talking about a struggle for religion.afterwards,Anthony made a song called Kicking Your Crosses Down which was against religion.
@btaoftfotpthm u cant rele go by youtube tho if the vids are old just saying i talk shit about other guitarists all day but my videos are shit cause it was when i was 15
I really dont mean to sound ignorant.. but to Anthony Green, I am.. i have a question.. is he, or atleast this song a satanic or atheist type of deal? it sounds really good.. but i dont want to comment on a song i dont even know the meaning to.. can someone help me out on the meaning of this song? Is this a bad song?
Videooverseer7 sounds like a song about suffering with depression and addiction to me. The devil in the song being his concious. Basically calling himself an evil liar etc.
I don’t believe Anthony Green is religious. He may be though. I kind of got the impression he wasn’t from On Letting Go. Also Kicking your crosses down. Although I could be interpreting it wrong.
oh and i wasnt saying you're stupid for asking about the religious origin of the song, i was saying anyone who would get mad at that is stupid. lol sorry for the confusion

This song is totally amazing I love it so much
the beginning sounds like it could be in a Spyro game lol

You guys 😭😂
Beautiful song man
I caught a demon in a mouse trap
One day behind the house
It said, " Please let me free, I'll do anything"
We came to an agreement, made an exchange
Your freedom for my name, then he began. he began to sing
Devil's song, won't be too long
To finally see the evil you've become
The Devil cries, all through the night
I don't think there's a reason
Devil's song, no won't be too long
To finally see the evil you've become
The Devil cries, all through the night
This feels like a nightmare
I was always told that you're a liar and not to trust
But my name still means nothing and we're all still,
We're all in the same spot
This feels like a nightmare
This song is 2 spooky. Great stuff.
Sweet fucking goodness, I wish I had half the ingenuity and talent it took to write this.
He's so inspiring and talented
This will always be my favorite song

I listened to this right before i went to sleep and had the craziest most fucked up dream.... Thanks Anthony Green!

Fuck drama and hate on TH-cam..
Listen and let listen.

LOVE ME ANTHONY
4:50 Does anyone know what the noise is at this point in the song? It sounds like some sort of machine being turned on?
A movie tape being rolled
@@MrDarthpepsi Dude, thank you for this. I've never heard that in person (and surprisingly can't find any many videos of it on TH-cam) so that shit always puzzled me.
I love this song. I don't know why..
Anthony Green sounds like a cross between Shannon Hoon (Blind Melon) and Raine Maida (Our Lady Peace) Very good
Victor Wooten is a beast and no way are you better than one of the best bass players of all time
thank you :) and no apologies, i get it.
lol if yuu don't like this song then why are yuu listening to it and commenting on it? xD I love this song and sing it all the time
holyy shitt
This feels like a nightmare
the 2 minute part is one of my favourite parts. lol
we're all the same haha sounds great
We're all in the same spot!!...
"...get out. Get out right now! While your can..."
can anyone explain this song to me?
@GhostAnimals93 circa survive is his best work

The day Anthony Green, Omar Rodriguez Lopez, Victor Wooten, Dave Ghrol, and Thomas Pridgen form a band, the world will implode on itself.
you are freedom for money?
lol no problem. and i hope my information in my other comment helped. i left two prior to this one
