I am planning to buy a better machine than my "nightmare Janome" and was happy to see your very detailed review : ). It would be wonderful if you could make one more instructional video of showing how all of the accessories actually work and what they are for since people new to sewing have no idea how to use them and in what situation 🙏. I am impressed with your sewing instructional videos 🥰💖 and it would be amazing to have somebody like you explain and show how and when to use certain accessory and what are other stitches for beside basic zig-zag or strait. Thanks for making this review 😃.
I'm a complete beginner and got this machine, I was so nervous unpacking it and knowing even how to get all the sticky tape off 😂 this helped so much thank you!!!!
I am so incredibly interested in this machine! It’s number one on my wish list currently. I recently bought a Brother 2104D Serger to replace my 27 year old serger (from Singer 14u12) and I was blown away by the unit! It was not the best build or such but the ease of use won me over. Now I am thinking very much to upgrade to Brother Innov is A150 from my Singer 4423 (bought 2020). It’s a good machine but I find it too “clunky” and sometimes irritates me having to remember all the adjustments needed when changing to a different stitch or function. I am so wanting the easier to work with design of Brother A150. Just need to put some money aside to invest! Thank for the great unboxing video!
Is your sewing machine brother inovis a 150 working good? Does it create some problem? As i came to know that it troubles because of auto cutter system.
Hi, I can’t say I’ve had any problems with the cutting mechanism. So long as the machine is regularly cleaned and maintained it works fine on mine. If you’ve had the machine for some time perhaps it might need a replacement blade or taking in for a service?
Hello. I’ve unfortunately not had any experience with the F420 so I couldn’t really say for certain which is better. They are at similar price points. The A150 has slightly more stitch options but only by a narrow margin. I guess it depends what you want to do with the machine as to which one would be more suitable for you. ☺️
Hi, I'm thinking about getting a mid-range Brother machine as my first machine. I've used old mechanicals before but I want an electronic machine. The A150 was my gut-impulse love-at-first-sight choice because it packs a lot of features for a very reasonable price, plus it looks sleek. Was wondering if you have encountered anything you wish was different. Cheers!
I can honestly say that this machine ticks every box on my wish list. I use it almost every day and still find things now that I didn’t realise it could do or things it has. It has plenty of decorative and utility stitches (half of which I don’t use regularly, of course). I haven’t needed to buy any extra presser feet, other than a walking foot, and the only extra accessory I’ve bought for it is the extension table. ☺️ If I really had to think of something to add it would be a laser seam guide, but I’ve actually only ever seen those on really expensive machines!
Honestly a bit overwhelmed with all the pieces as a complete beginner would you be able to explain what each piece extra piece does? Especially in the additional tools bag. It could make for an informative video or great reply. I saw you mention one of them is described in the manual are all of them even the possibly obvious?

Wow, I just bought one today, super excited, thanks for sharing the unboxing 😊
I’m sure you’ll love it! 🥰
This machine is really nice. We don't get these fancy models locally so I'll live vicariously through you
I did have to buy it online if I’m honest as there isn’t very much of anything sewing related near me. Not even a proper fabric shop!
Thank you, this was very helpful as I'm considering buying this machine.
It’s been almost 3 years since I bought this machine and it’s still going strong! Never had any issues with it, and I do a LOT of sewing! 😊

Hi how many stitches per minute
Hi 😊 the A150 is capable of up to 850 stitches per minute.

Hi! Apologies, I have only just seen your comment. Everything you get in the box is indeed explained in the manual 😊
👍👍👍MERCI 🌹
Japan makes their machines like America when they use to care about quality. No plastic parts inside.
Yes, full metal chassis on this one. It’s heavier than some machines, but it’s fantastic to use!
