Confession...I watch almost all TH-cam at 1.75x. But, every time I watch something from you Matt, it stays at 1X. Love the story telling. The vibe. All of it man. Love what you are doing for the community.
Drew! Thank you for the increadbly kind words you shared. Your comment honestly made my day. You know as well as anybody, a TON of work goes into these video creations and it's always good to hear positive feedback. I'll admit, your name came up in my conversations a few times at MOORE. One, I was talking to Carlton with Autowbrake and another with Chris Eckel with Esapod. Both conversation led to you being an awesome person and doing great things for this (outdoor and small camper) community. I always nice to hear from you. Hope you and your family are doing well! - Matt If you don't mind, I love to pin this comment to the top of our thread, if I can figure that out.
@@FreysOnTheSide Every time I watch one of your videos I start feeling bad that life got in the way last year. I was so excited to come out and partner up with you. I'm really sorry I wasn't able to make it happen. In my head it all just made sense to get our families together and get to know each other more. The last two years has truly been a whirlwind. Selling homes, working overseas, buying homes, swapping trailers, more work/ministry overseas. Life is anything but normal right now. But I wouldn't trade it for the world. I just regret that we weren't able to get together before all the crazy set in. MOORE was just a little over a week before we landed in the States. It would have been fun to join all of you. And yes, pin away! Let me know if you ever travel out West this year.
@@PlayingwithSticks well at least it’s a “it’s not you, it’s me” break up. Lol. No worries Drew, I too was really excited to partner with you. Calibrations are great and I am sure it would have helped me find my audience. Not to mention pull great information from someone that has found success in TH-cam. Either way I am happy we have connected over the past several years and consider you a digital friend. My hopes our paths will cross soon. West is certainly not out of the question this year. I will keep you posted on our travel plans.
@@FreysOnTheSide I have my fingers crossed that you can make West. That would be a great place to meet up. I thought I would be into that scene, but I had a blast last year at mountain west. I had some young up and coming TH-camrs on both sides of my campsite. It was great just getting to know them and talking all things TH-cam and overlanding. The whole night scene just reminds me of an adult version of a boys sleepover. But instead of flashlights, the men had lava boxes. Haha
Just as long as I can be asleep by 9… We have two ideas around the July 4th. Colorado Rockies or Canada. I don’t think we will put a ton of planning in it, just pick a direction and go. Spend a couple or three weeks on the road and take it all in.
Really glad you made it! These events are so fun and always very busy. I always tell myself to chill out and enjoy, but get wrapped up in the event and keep moving the camera.
Tanner! How have you been? I was just thinking of you the other day as it’s got to be close to bike season for you. Best of luck on the events which I am sure you will shred. And thanks for positive vibes on the stache, coming along nicely if I do say so myself.
Great to meet you as well. You are a class act dude and hope our paths cross again soon. Stay after it, you will be big time on TH-cam in no time at all.
Matt, your videos are are awesome! Your camera work is great, and your story telling is on point. I watch your videos on my phone when they pop up in notifications, and then it’s on to the big screen with the family for another watch. I’m always chomping at the bit to get up north to explore and shake the daily grind, but I have noticed that when my wife sees your content (especially with your wife and kids involved) she gets excited to get out and go too. Thanks for the coverage of MOORE, we couldn’t make it this year so it was nice to see a summary. Anyway, good work and keep it up!
Kind words! I (Matt) and flattered you think highly of our content. Many hours go into sharing stories like this and it’s always nice to hear the hard work can be seen. We love our outdoor experience with our family and sharing our adventures on TH-cam. Hearing this motivates and excites your family to get out and explore is probably the best compliment we have received. My hopes, you are able to break for the busy world and tap into the freedoms of the outdoors with you family a TON this summer. Be safe out there and stay hungry for adventure!
Always great to meet like minded people at MOORE. Thanks for stopping by and chatting! Believe it or not, I was a bit worried about the temps, but ended up being just fine with a base layer and my sleeping bag. It ended up being the perfect weekend. Not too warm and not too cold.
Got to chat with you a bit a few times over the weekend (and got my Frey's sticker) and wanted to say thanks! The MOORE Expo is a gem of a show, so many good people and great conversations to be had. We will be back, hope to see you there next year.
Outstanding! Glad we’re able to snatch up a sticker! Hope you find a good place to display. I am always impressed with the MOORE expo and looking forward to next year, with a hole bunch more miles and adventures behind us. Get after it and stay hungry for adventure.
It was great meeting and talking with you at the Expo! We too traveled 700+ miles to get there but it was worth it. Thanks for your advice on the TC Teardrops also - we put a deposit down on one after we got home; our build is March of 2024!
Dude! Pleasure to meet you as well. I could tell you needed a coffee. It’s always fun to connect with adventure spirits. Best of luck on your travels. Stay hungry for adventure!
Your channel came to me because of this MOORE coverage. This was my first offroad expo and I will return. I had a lot of fun this weekend and hopefully next year I'll meet you.
Glad the TH-cam helped you find our channel. This years MOORE was outstanding and if history repeats itself, it’s only going to get better next year. Hope to see you then. Thanks for stopping by, dropping in to say hi. Hope you enjoy our style and stick around. Stay hungry for adventure!
Awesome to have met you you both. Thanks for stopping by and supporting our channel with some swag. Best of luck on your travels. Stay hungry for adventure!
Pleasure to meet you both in person. Hope our paths cross again soon. I’d love to make it your neck of the woods and see what Colorado has to offer. Remember when I totally lost my train of thought in conversation? You mentioned my display for patches and at the TC event, we had a cook off for French Fries. At that cook off we had French fry containers. These fry containers are what I put the value of patches on…. Anyways, had to get that off my chest.

So good to see you except for when you called me out from on stage 😅
Lol. Ah yes. I almost grabbed the footage you shared with me. My camera battery was gone literally a few seconds after I cut it on the video.
