Hi Koss! Thank you for taking us for a walk around town. There’s a difference I see but the street names are the same. I remember the night life was always packed. After work we use to go for a drink before we caught the last train back to Porirua.. I was only a teenager at the time (moepi) 😂😂 but the older girls would take me there..

Great vid kos ..brings back a load of memories..some good some bad.
Starts off at the st george htl...spent many hours at scribblers/ dragons bar.
Manners st still seems odd every time i go back.
Was crazy as manners mall...good and bad memories.
I still remember when the oaks was the oaks tavern before clubs..used to have mostly rock and metal bands..( was a slaves spot for a while if you know what i mean ).
Courntey place is a different world between day night for sure.
Remember when it had the old asian commodities and other back of shop chinese and indian stores before all the clubs moved in.
Used to be some crazy old pubs down that way that got knocked down in the 80s .
The late mid 90s really changed welly..some good some bad.
Great to see it as always.

Wow flashbacks of doom!!!. Cried inside to see one of my favourite childhood places is the city council building. Eyeguy 😂
Mid city was like where us feabots sorted the men from the boys playing games like street fighter and mortal kombat. Iykyk
The old georgie pie opposite maccas, many nights on top of the breeze building watching the streets from above
Is Tandys music store still there in manners?
Rip to the fallen soldiers mike the juggler ,blanket man 🖤💛🖤💛
Most things look more modern but it's same same
Embassy movies was the imax before they had imax. Largest screen in aotearoa during that time.
Malo uso for taking us down memory lane and old stomping grounds.
NEVER FORGET MY ROOTS 🖤💛🖤💛🖤💛 04 UNTIL IM CARRIED BY 6 ✊️

Yo Frosty! good to see you still walking those streets, before Manners Mall the street was like that in the 70s my old man used to work in the Regent Billiard Room so spent a lot of my time there, the BNZ was still operating from that corner in those days. Come the 80s you and the boys were breaking out front of McDs! Willie's "Fight" Bar was going strong, Dr Johns in Courtney where we all started our nightclubbing before progressing to the other clubs as we got older. I left WLG a while ago now but it's good to see old faces, some old publicans like Chris "Gonzo" Lingonis still operating there. Bumping in to all the old faces like Raw & Co is always good........WLG will always be home.
