- Here is the portfolio I applied to Sheridan with, I ended up getting an 88% which is enough to get in is you are domestic but not enough for international applicants. Honestly, I am quite pleased with my score even though I didn't get in, I nearly pulled my entire portfolio together in just a bit over two weeks so I'm honestly surprised they considered me haha.
Anyways, I wanted to upload my portfolio because I found it really helpful to see the previous year's scores when I was applying, so I figured I'd add my scores to the pot for any future applicants out there! Feel free to ask any questions you have in the comments- I'll do my best to answer them!
you did great!!! the only thing that probably stopped u from getting in straight away we’re the figure drawings but i hope you get in!!!!

OH MY GOD 24/25 ON STORYBOARDING!! That is a really good, hard to come by score. Did you focus on it when making your portfolio? I think for most of the life drawing section, you might want to focus on your construction (eg creating a ribcage-pelvis reference in the life drawings) and keeping everything in more realistic proportions. I really like your first short pose, it is really expressive!! I can't offer any advice on the other sections but I really want to say well done!! Your work looks beautiful and I hope you get in!
Thank you! I can’t remember quite how long I spent on storyboarding but I do remember exceeding the amount of time I had designated myself to work on it by a bit haha.
For the sketch book part is it required to acually be on paper? Bc I don’t all my drawings digitally

I’m starting to get ate up with these portfolios. It seems like the no brainers are turned down, while some very amateur portfolio’s are accepted with near perfect scores.

It changes every year depending on how students do, the year I turned my portfolio in the score needed was a 91% & the year before it was 88% I believe. Best of luck with your application!!

What materials did u use for the hand drawing
just an hb pencil, a non-photo blue colored pencil, and paper :)!

Richard Mika, it depends on your spot on the waitlist. Those who are very high up the list usually have a pretty good chance of getting in. Looking at the times we are in now though, it is unpredictable in how the list will move.
