I don't play nor like the game anymore, but it has given unbelievable memories throughout the years I will never forget. One of the best games ever in its prime
I think there are many players today who believe the game is better than it every was. I personally know that less bugs, and several minor changes have added up to require a more thoughtful style of play. Sure, extremely fast ADS and broken mechanics like bullet holes made for montage clips, but they were oppressive and unfair to be playing with or against. The game always could've and should've been played more intelligently; it doesn't mean it has to be realistic, but highlighting the tactical and strategic necessities of successful r6 is something that's important. Many players I encounter in the present who falter and complain during matches tend to be ones who don't play smart. That isn't to say all players are like that though, we all have our own reasons from being critical of the game.

This game is a hollow shell of what it was for me. These clips remind me of how much fun siege used to be
Yeah, them taking away all of the extremely fast paced tech in the game ruined it for most people, it's because siege wasn't what it was intended to be back then, and most people didn't realize they didn't like the game it was meant to be.
They basically just reduced the speed of the game drastically.

old siege was truly a tactical shooter not just in terms of gameplay the menu the operators the skins soundtrack hud maps.... so sad it turned into smth like fortnite
