WOW! I wish I'd found this video sooner. I used to drag a VW back in the 1980s. I would preload the transmission with the E-brake just like you did. I never had anyone teach me and I learned these things through trial and error. But you did do one thing different than I used to. You did your burn out in second gear. I'm thinking, "Why didn't I think of that?" Maybe you've got more ponies than I had. I was only running an 1835 with two 40IDAs back then. Anywho, thanks for the memories.
