I love Joyce because she is herself! A lot of preachers holler and scream in the mic to get there point across (not that its anything wrong with that because I like that style of teaching as well) but Joyce is just as calm as she can be. Shes going to say what needs to be said and thats it! She gets her message across very well.

Positive thinking is so important. I struggle to find a balance. Guarding the heart, and keeping watch over sinful thoughts is especially difficult for me. I find these angry and judgemental thoughts the hardest to fight against.
"for who ever is angry with his brother without cause, has committed murder in his heart" & "and do not judge"
Being humble is the most positive thought form, and the hardest to acquire.

@@heatherpoteet3242 my sister watches joyce myers. I pray somehow she opens her eyes. joyce has this weird habit of telling people it's not their fault when certain undesirable things happen to them. but to me, it seems to remove accountability when it promote responsibility and self reflection.
maybe it IS your fault people dont want to hang out with you, maybe you are being greedy, maybe you are eating too much. stop making excuses and feeling sorry for yourself. pray for strength yes, but actually do something instead of think God will do it for you.
I feel joyce teaches this strange thing that's not the word of God or some misrepresented version of it. you're responsible for your actions. you can't do whatever you want, pray God will protect you and say oh It was Gods intentions all along when it doesnt work out for you. You have to make things happen and give thanks to God, being thankful for what you have now.

God does walk ahead of us. I will say it God saw something and let me go. What I learned on the surface, it built my confidence. I can do the work. I did not want to go back to Accounting. I was let go of a job and now I am looking somewhere else now and I know I can do these jobs I see. God walked ahead and saw what was ahead. 😊

You know the things Joyce has been through I've seen so much less break a person that she's kind of an enigma to me I look at her and think what fortitude to not only survive that forgive that but love back and give back to those that hurt you the most is amazing.
I've had way less done to me and I'm grappling with forgiveness or rather unforgiveness and how to get to forgiveness. Unforgiveness is the thief of all good things it's contraction and our hearts and it destroys all the good that could be she had all the ingredients to execute that in her life and she didn't choose to employ those emotions are decisions that is what makes her an outstanding evangelist
