I still didn't understand,why he created ultron
Because he was a forward minded person
He knew there would be alien threats to Earth in the future
That's why he wanted to protect the Earth
Just a simple answer, he wants to made a brain for his suits, so that his suits can help Avengers in a big threat by Fighting with them or by keeping people's at safe places, because we have seen in Iron Man 3 that Jarvis is incapable of identifying who is ally ana who is enemy and attacks Pepper just by her heat signature alongside it JARVIS also doesn't know how to keep at people's safe places when they are opposing them (From Age of Ultron starting fight). That's why Tony tries to made a Artificial Intelligence who can act like himself in a Battle situation.
