We have been told that there are no "moral victories" in sports. While that may be true for the coaches and players, I am under no obligation to adopt that perspective. Today was a moral victory for us. This is the same Penn State that beat Iowa 31-0 the week before. They were ranked #6 in the country, and we went into the locker room tied, 10-10. The key to this game was the over-turned call that wiped out a first down. Braun gambled on 4th and inches and they stopped us. You tip you helmet to Penn State. I completely agreed with the call. I also had no problem with the fake punt. Well done today Cats. You guys might be disappointed, but I'm not. I like the fight in this team!
@@livetotell100 It was 10-17 halfway through the 3rd Quarter. That's when we had the first down overturned and then got stopped on 4th down. Penn State outscored us 24-3 after that stop. But, prior to that, we hung with the #6 team in the country for a good chunk of the game so, yes, a moral victory IMO.
Cats got in their own way when they needed a play. Penalties, overturned or not overturned calls, fake plays, etc. video replay is still not consistent on when they do vs not. Our QB play was also a big factor
@@joemetallo2183 Throwing home run balls in that situation is running up a score. Alabama is famous for it. I don't like them for it. I thought the Lions had more class. Joe Pa certainly did.
@@Areyoutalkingtome-q1s Penn State fan here, I disagree I don't think we run up the score too much. Look around at College Football now so many teams run up the score way more, USC and Oregon play random teams you never heard of and it's way worse. I think Franklin put his backups in and wanted to give them reps, I think if anything that's a compliment to NW he's taking them seriously enough the whole game.
Penn State fan here. You guys played a good game, I like this coach a lot. I wish him all the best.
Good coach, inherited a mess and his team played the first half very well. Penn state fan appreciates you
This guy is a great leader and communicator. Let's stick with him!

Even though you lost by 28 points?

@@Zobin211 Northwestern had a very good season. With a lesser defense, we would've lost this game.
I like him a lot but he said he invites us back next time like okay buddy. 😂
Lol someone struck a nerve with the crowd noise comment

Braun should be pissed about the last PState score. You need to remember that and look for some payback in the future.
Why upset? It was the 2nd string QB..he has the right to get playing time and get better

The player on the right being interviewed looks like a Slipknot fan to me, go maggots lol.
The penn st fake kneel for pass for TD was unnecessary. Game was over at that point
Wasn't a fake kneel. Was a fake run.
It was not a fake kneel it was a fake QB run
