it's important to see videos like these bc the news will have people thinking Prince George's County is all one sort of way. There is a lot of opportunity and abundance to be enjoyed in this area.
What about for those of us with families. My wife and I pay more right now to live in Fairfax County strictly because of the schools. I’ve heard so many bad things about the PG county schools. However we have seen several homes that offer us more bang for our buck in the PG area
@jayfitzgerald6700 I was raised in Fairfax County and even those schools depend on zip code. Big difference in quality between my old HS Lee/Lewis and like South County. I don't have direct experience with PG County schools but I see a lot of ppl opting for private.
I turned 55 last wk.Can you make 55+ communities?……I currently stay in New Jersey/would love to explore my options….I love Maryland and would like to possibly move.
I considered a gated community in Maryland since my wife is from Maryland, but the home styles are so dated to me. I would certainly have to build to my liking.
This is so true! I’ve never seen older homes in my life! Even when you go to Columbia (Howard county). The homes there are so old you wouldn’t believe it and the materials they build with are so odd!
Toll Brothers' homes are absolutely amazing at Oak Creek. I looked at these well over 5 to 7 years or more ago. They also have a gated community in Upper Marlboro, which has horses/ranches, amenities, and all.
I live near church road, and while I love the houses, I never considered it a gated community, though I always drive through it. Sometimes what's too familiar is not revered.
I love those areas! My husband and I are thinking about living there in the future or possibly doing a custom build . I wish your videos were longer and a little more in-depth but thanks for showing what you did .
I don't understand Kings Isle Estates as a gated community, a person can simply bypass the gate, climb up the mound and walk right into the community. The houses are gorgeous and the lot size massive but help me understand this. I love your show.
Actually no. There are a few smaller ones a lot of people don’t know that Fairwood has a gated section. And 1 brand new one in development in Bowie called Soleil off of Laurel Bowie Rd. We just highlighted the popular ones.
This is for folks with the coins of course I live in Upper Marlboro by the Amish Market and thought are homes are nice the neighborhood sucks and they do nothing about it. We pay HOA for nothing we don't even have a club house to use.

I'm so glad that some people can actually afford to live like this.
My uncle lived in Woodmore until he passed. RIP Uncle Pumpkin!!!!
I love gated communities. I wish these communities would create downsized living spaces for the retired community.
There are communities like that where it’s 55 and up only.
There a few 55+ in the DMV and a few new ones coming up.

Me, too!

I love Marlboro Ridge, not a gated community but still a very beautiful Toll Brother community and second phase is now Timberlake Homes.

Great video! I absolutely love being in Bowie, MD 🤗 best kept secret 🤫
Love my neighborhood! Definitely worth it
Beautiful homes
Wish you would have included the amount of the HOA fees of these beautiful communities
How much are they?
Beautiful
We live in the newest part of Oak creek off of Rexford. We love oak creek when the gates are being ran through by visitors and contractors 😂
That is hilarious!!!
Great review, but you forgot the Bequest in Fairwood.
Ooooh yess. That’s the 3 car garage section.
Stops exposing our secret communities 🙂
Lololol!!!
Very nice
Great video m

Thanks Natalie! More to come next week we starting an affordability series and those are going to be SUPER comprehensive. Noted!
No HOAs!

Yes there gate is more of an aesthetic than true security. Thank you for watching.
@@thedapos "Their" gate.
Kings Isle Estates was built by Triangle Homes family builder since 1986
What makes Woodmore "infamous"?
Amount of Black wealth in that area.
@@jamaalshelton6793The definition of infamous is 'well known for some bad quality or deed.
It was the first gated community in the county. It was at one time very sought after.
She used the wrong word(infamous).
So there’s only three gated communities in Prince George’s county?

@@thedapos I’d love to hear more about those! New video part 2 perhaps? Hint hint
No, Farmington Woods in Accokeek MD is another.
Checkout Wingate too.
Unfortunately, many of these homes were built with "builders grade" materials.
I wish someone would make ranch style houses in gated communities, but I guess it takes up too much space!

Did she say PG County at 1:40???? SMH.
