We began preparing for CS the day after they beat us in the Quarterfinals the previous year (‘22). Every day in the summer, throughout the fall and into the playoffs. We watched the sound clips of them calling us a Cinderella team the year before We knew we would see them again the next year and we KNEW without a doubt that if and when we faced them again that the outcome would be in our favor. They are a great team, well coached, tough group of kids and deservingly so as back to back state champions, but, this was our time, our moment, and nothing in the world was going to stop us on this night.
