I've got about 40 miles on my Boston 12, and I'm loving the experience overall. The midsole feels great and the outsole is excellent. I agree with the criticism of the upper. For me, there is just _way_ too much material across the midfoot - the pseudo gusset / lace loop system is a congested mess that makes it difficult for me to get a good lockdown. But hey, if they go with a traditional gusset and eyelet combo for the 13 they'll have a shoe they never need to change again. All this word drama aside, I still love the shoe and it's currently my go-to daily trainer - it's just a bit annoying to lace up 😂
Sounds like the adios pro 3 companion good midsole and outsole but minor upper issues possibly for some runners; this issue is similar to adios pro 3 upper takes care and didn’t work for everyone. Appreciate the review style of the video; keep it up.
is the upper, and heel counter specifically, similar to the adios pro 3? Im trying to get a feel for the reviews and heard this come up a lot, but I enjoyed the pro 3s upper and heel counter. The lacing was the exact same in that shoe too with them constantly coming undone.
I am considering to buy this shoe but i have questions, how is this shoe feel when it compared with Endorphin Speed 3? Which one that has more value for money as a 'super daily trainer'?
Both shoes are great performance trainers and which one is better will really come down to personal preference and end use! I felt Endorphin Speed 3 is a little bit faster and bouncier since it has a 100% pwrrunpb super foam midsole. With that being said the Boston 12 is still very bouncy and is maybe a little better suited for long efforts. I really enjoy it as a faster long run day shoe due to its smooth and efficient ride along with the large amount of protection underfoot. -Connor
If you loved the Endorphins speed 3, YOU will definitely Love these Boston 12 for sure! I have many many different pairs and the speed 3 and Boston 12 are definitely the best All Around daily trainers in my opinion.
I hope this wouldn't be like the boston 11 after using it for 1 year there would be a rip at the side like the Boston 11. I just use my Boston 11 for work and I don't run.
Would this shoe be a good option for heavy runners (85 kilo +..) looking a race day shoe or something a bit quicker than a daily trainer for big guys ?
Yes, this could be a good option for what you're looking for. Is has enough cushioning for daily training but the lightweight, aggressive design paired with the extra bounce from the super foam makes it great for some quicker efforts. If you're looking for a true racer, you could consider a step up with the adios pro 3, but heavier runners may prefer the extra comfort and support from the Boston12. -Connor
For the style of shoe, it actually runs pretty well for easy/recovery day. Wouldn't be my first pick but I've used the shoe for warmup, workout, and cool down and it feels good. There's a lot of cushioning underfoot and its much softer than past versions which makes if feel comfortable on foot. -Connor
@@runningwarehouse I find really annoying when having those nice runs that has interval/tempo/etc on the mix usually the shoe either is good when running fast or slow… so I tend to pick one that is lighter and faster but ends up sucking on the slower recovery in between. Perhaps the Boston 12 could be a good choice?
@@jamesb.walker9177 Ya I think Boston 12 is definitely a shoe worth considering. Mach X would be another one in a similiar ball park that is really versatile for both faster and easier days. -Connor
Guys you need to decide if you want to make advertising content or review content - seems you are on the fence, and seriously it is not working - waste of time for those who are looking after honest review, and as commercial it is lame and way to long .. dislike from me
Totally get where you’re coming from, but I don’t see it exactly like that. First things first, they are a business that sells product, so ofc everything is always an ad, at least a little bit. However, I listened to a podcast that featured Connor and he mentioned how many reviews like this are scrapped because the shoe just is not holding up. To me that says if he really hates the shoe, we wouldn’t see any video like this in the first place. Also even in this review they both talk about their gripes with older versions and the other guy Connor is with literally said situations where a competitor shoe to the Boston performs better.
@@CameronOCI'll add one more comment to your very excellent reply, Cameron. There are a lot of other reviews to triangulate what will work for someone in a shoe. RW always gives info and some opinion, but generally they're presenting info for you to decide what to BUY. If you need other reviews - Kofuzi, Believe In The Run, Eddbud, FordyRuns, Doctors of Running, Drew Whitcomb... there's a LOT of others who can give you truly unbiased reviews. So someone complaining to RW about their posts... 🤷♂️
Did 10 gravel trail miles in this shoe yesterday. Great performance! Loving the upgrade for this model. Has to be the Best Comeback Shoe of 2023...
I appreciate that John shared his issues with the shoe, and not just making this an ad.
I was just about to write the same. 100% agree. This is the best Running Warehouse review I’ve seen so far.

Good morning from 🇪🇸. Good information about the new Boston 12. Like to Running Warehouse. A nice day for everyone. 🌞🏃🌞
Becoming very close to Adios Pro3 and fitting to long marathon pace training.
Definitely a great option for steady longer runs, especially marathon pace! -Connor
Just got my pair!🔥

Boston 12, a fantastic shoe 👍👌
Waiting here for a comeback of Boston 9

missing Jamison
I tried on a pair today and noticed the 12.5 is way bigger then normal and 12 is a little bigger also tempted to go to 12
Going way way back the original Boston was a supernova without a medial post. That goes back like 20 years though haha

I had the EB2, the UB19 and UB21. ALL junk, and sold after one run. These different????

Mach X is a lot more narrow in the standard size. Also didn't feel as responsive. +1 for Boston 12
Can you review the New Balance FuelCell SuperComp XC-X Spikes please?

Soon those energy rods will reach basketball shoes.
😂
Ball your hand into a loose fist when you run! It looks like you're trying out for the special Olympics 😁
