after the recent anniversary sale all of 3.0 to 5.0 matches have at least one wyvern player that bombs one base and then just runns forever around the map
I wish they would just run around the map. Wyverns I play immediately book it straight back to their airfield every time. I have absolutely 0 respect for anyone in a wyvern now because of them
I got the wyvern because it was cheap and a good way to grind up a tree I have no progress in. I alternate between base bomb and scoot to base to get more bombs to repeat the process (because gaijoob grind is funny), the same opener but then strafe ground targets, and once again same opener but then go combat pilot, it all depends on the map size and where the enemy team is once bombs are away. Either way, I am on the ground for as little time as I have to be. Is this respectable? XD

Until people leave and stop giving them money, they will never care. There are far more whales in games like this then people openly admit. I quit 3 years ago ( played since before ground rb). I used to be in a few squadrons and knew 8 people who admitted to spending a few thousand dollars on that game while having played less than 3 years.
For me, the last part is partly true. Unlike ground, where you can learn how to drive pretty quickly, the air requires some serious research about the planes, their playstyles, all kind of maneuvers(offensive/defensive), how not to let your pilot blackout in the middle of combat, and some basic physics knowledges. Edit: air RB is the fastest way to have a good CAS plane. You wont survive in ground RB if you dont have a good plane in your lineup

Air RB in my 3.3 P-51 Mustang with the 4 20mm hispano cannons is so much fun, people hate my AA belts, only downside is ammo is nonexistant after a half second burst
What’s wild is that that last thing is too true, in the way that air ab, it’s quick to get to the fight, relatively easy to get kills, at higher ranks, pay is pretty good. But air rb retains almost nothing from arcade, takes too fucking long to get to the fight, and when you do, you just end up getting destroyed by some tryhard who just got down from fucking orbit, doesn’t pay much more than Arcade, and is all around literally useless
