Even some words are the same or have a similar pronunciation. So yeah, the languages are related to another, as well as the tribal tattoo designs. However, they were much closer related to each other at least 5000 years ago.

Pacific people and the Filipinos shared a similar culture of seafaring, that's why tribes in southern Philippines have a boat called Vinta. What I was referring to was the anthem's tone, rythm, beat, intonation and other rudiments that will define the music.
