I've been tattooing for about 6 years now, and I'm interested in learning more about wabori. I've found it fascinating from the start, but now that I have a bit more skill, I think I can start to do something decent in this style. Your videos are being a great help in understanding the style and the concepts, so when the time comes to do it, I can do it with the respect that wabori deserves. Thanks a lot for the content and shared knowledge.
The more I learn the more I want to do things the proper way. Thank you for your video. I am in search of an artist of this gentleman’s caliber who works in the United States if anyone has recommendations I would truly appreciate.
Both are considered traditional now, however colour came after black & grey. however when horimono started, black & grey was only around. Colour was created afterwards. Back in the day, people often boasted about how many colours they had on their horimono. Thanks for the question!
I wish I lived in Sydney. I am looking for an artist to work with, and Seattle is lacking skilled traditional Japanese tattoo artists. If you know of any please do let me know. Thank you.
