I’ve been learning Korean with LingoDeer for the past couple of years. I have no experience of Rosetta Stone, but I just like the LingoDeer methodology. It feels bespoke to the language and because I’m the type of person who likes to learn the grammar it suits me to use it.
I’m learning Spanish to become more fluent in the language. I took a few courses in school, but want to master it. I would love to learn as many languages as possible so that I can connect on a deeper level with people.
I am learning Spanish because it is so widely spoken in the states it very beneficial to know and I’m also learning Japanese, I would like to move to Japan one day.
I'm working on learning Spanish. No specific reason other than I want to and learning a second language is good for the brain and sets a good example for my son. Living where I do in the US it would come in handy at times as well.
I’d like to learn multiple languages, starting with Spanish. Mandarin also seems very useful, but difficult. Then maybe Italian because it is beautiful. So is Portuguese.
Gotta say it's not useful to not try to use English, of course translating too much is bad too, but not doing it will also delay soooo much the process, and you Will naturally associate the words you learn to the close ones in English, it's just inevitable
