@frankiebiggz XG came up with the classification in a rap Jurin did, distinguishing their group from all others. I'm guessing it has to do with the fact that Kpop and Jpop are a regional thing, whereas Xpop is a global thing. Of course, this is just my opinion because XG never really explained it.

Sure, that's another way to look at it, however we wouldn't consider it R&B, it would be more of a soulful house. I will def do more of XG in the future! Thanks for the comment!
I wonder if some of the disconnect comes from the way kpop/pop think about starshine stuff visually. Like maybe they place too much faith in the change in person over expressing it in the music.
Thats my one gripe with XG productions is they are very anti drop. I feel like they miss so many opportunities to add excitement to their tracks in the transitions.
Something definitely ain't right, the chorus sounds the same as the chorus of Loud Luxury and Brando's song Body. It's using a generic 90's/00's UK Garage house beat.
