So why that loosening its so important? I had always doned without that and final moment 110nm. Any cars didnt come to back blown HG. 20nm --> 40nm --> 60nm --> 80nm --> 100nm and 110nm.....
That loosening is to homogenize the torque throughout the cylinder head. There is no general correspondence between the angular and torque tightnening.
