Walked away from a job in November of 2022. I was earning approximately $300k a year. I was 100% debt free and had about $2 million in paid off real estate. Now I’m at about $150k per year in net rent. It worked out to be the best for me. Eliminating a lot of stress.

      The moral of the story
Get a $2 million net worth & use that capital to replace your $300k or $300 million job!!

A corporate job without a roadmap can be like a comfortable prison - it might feel secure at the moment, but it can limit your freedom and growth in the long run. Kudos to Matt for his journey.

Anyone have a time stamp for when this guy talks about leaving his 6 figure job with just 4 properties and what this looked like on paper?

Pissed at what that contractor did! But it gives me a new perspective. As scared as I am, my first investment might be a turnkey ready property.
