This reminds of all those classic cartoons where the main character(s) try to protect a baby from wandering towards danger only to be pummeled and humiliated in the process. I really wish we can have more of these animations. What if the Mario Bros have to protect their baby selves from all the dangers that they would normally circumvent as adults?
I was thinking about those, too: Tom and Jerry with that baby, Animaniacs (poor, poor Buttons)... Miss those old, simply fun cartoons. Um... But if the Mario Bros would be guarding their own baby selves... does it mean that, if they fail... they end up poofing out of existence, or something? ...Oh my!
Same! First time playing that stage I murdered so many baby penguins in frustration for being the wrong one. I mean, it's their fault from wandering so far away from their parents while a noted psychopath like Mario Mario is on the loose. Oh and Bowser was doing some stuff too.

the premise is ridiculous and very in tune with how this happens a lot in video games. "have you seen my child? they ran away and i just stood here hoping they would be okay out in the woods where there are always wolf attacks. clearly this was the best option for a responsible parent like myself"😆

I question mario's smartness he climbs a mountain to save a penguin then dosent think about climbing back down but goes through more trouble to find another way down. Great animation, dosent get better than this.

Aww, I love how kind and considerate Mario is in this video. To me, it is a reminder that Mario isn't just out to kill things and the is actually a good person.
An idea for a video is where mario and baby mario go through a maze and has to keep baby mario safe while also not ditching him accidentally because if baby mario dies, that’s one less life for mario and if baby mario runs out, mario just fades away. Also, it’s be funny for the end to have mario leave baby mario behind and suddenly is teleported to a broken down version of the maze with no exit or baby mario because of the mistake of ditching the child.

Just after mother ask Mario to get back her baby and Mario says Let's do this : Mario calling children assistance for this mother forgetting her " precious baby " so far away in a hostile zone. On the bridge, snowball man giving a slap on Mario face, making Mario drop the baby off the bridge and falling. At the second try with koopa, the shell slowly go back and being crush by the big door. Just after wall of Goomba success, a hole in ice. But it's was just after so it's ok. But above all, at the end " Thank you Mario...but...it's not MY baby ! " Overall, it's was a masterpiece as always. Keep going.
At timestamp 1:55 I literally chuckled and said "Oh no!" out loud, knowing that it both defeated the penguin and softlocked Mario, worst of both worlds.
