The 20-80 scale sounds like probability percentiles ... like you hear in standardized testing
Elly should be in the Oufield and McLain left in the infield.
I think he might be better in the outfield because of his arm and speed. But I think they want to avoid injuring him.
0% chance Roki plays for the Reds. 90% chance it’s the Dodgers or Padres.
McLain's hard hit data in Arizona is good. The numbers shouldn't matter. He is facing guys that played an entire season, he will look rusty. Him being sore on back to back days is just par for the course on shoulder injuries, if it turns into more there could be concern but right now there should be cautious optimism.

Sasaki will bring Japanese media dollars. There is no way they do not make money off of him they can. The big drawbacks for him going to the reds are the pitching injury history of the reds and the ballpark.
Oh yes, and they are not the dodgers who have Ohtani and Yamamoto there to provide clubhouse stability
McLain will be ready by opening day. This should not stop the Reds from trading Jonathan India as part of a package for right handed batting OF with power or some pitching help. India remains the most expendable player on the Reds roster with minimal trade value. India plays horrible defense and is an average hitter at best. Talk of using India at 3B, 1B, and in the OF is just ridiculous. Should trade him now while his market value is as high as it will ever be.
Elly does not provide much value on defense.

I know I am in the minority, but if I was in charge of this thing McLain would use the entirety of spring training to make sure that he is right and he would start the season at AAA for a week or two to make sure he is fully healthy and ready to go. I would do the same with CES, Marte, and Benson.
I think it's crazy to put him right on the Reds opening day roster. If sounds like his doctor didn't say he would be 100% until the very beginning of the season. No way I'm relying on him being ready.
Put him in AAA. See how he handles it then reevaluate things after he's played a couple weeks everyday, is healthy and actually looks like the Matt McClain we remember him being.
I would do the same with the other guys you mentioned. I don't trust any of these guys to be ready for MLB right away.
Well you know they could bring back Trevor Bauer for a cheap price put him in the bullpen maybe spot starter and if he does certain things give me a sensitives and then there's that
