This is brilliant writing because you can see how much trauma the boy has been through and how brainwashed he has been to withstand this kind of sight without freaking out, seeing blood spill and human lives loss doesn't even touch him anymore. And to do this kind of job you have to be dead inside like he showed he is because with the amount of bodies they cremate everydays and the number of people they shoot ain't no way they'll sleep at night if they're sane.

He might have died during the tug of war without their help. And yes, he didn't know there would be team games but he also had no reason to assume there wouldn't be any either.

Sanwoo’s playing his own game. He’ll do almost whatever it takes to survive and he thinks only of himself. It’s why he was a good businessman until he got reckless and lasted as long as he did. Could you imagine trying to do this while your life is quite literally on the line and people are getting shot around you? I watched a youtube video of this. Apparently licking really does work.
Also, 3 episodes in and and one of the main characters name is Pickpocket. Wth. The only thing I know about this show is that 3/4 male actors are really famous I guess, and the main woman is a world famous supermodel that I've never heard of.
