Any type of swapping/RMT happens in literality every game with a trading element to it. Even if devs disallow it, people still will swap or pay for carries/services. There is no such thing as a true fresh start
I had a relic on day 1. Swapped it for 700M. Got the ancient medallion later that day and spend it on dirt cheap magic seeds. Spending all extra cash on them. They will be worth good money when the account gets transferred to the main game.
i logged in and started a character on day 8 for the first time. the economy is already insane.... the fact u can buy bonds ruins the experience for me they sell for 1 mil already on fresh start.
When you trade money over to maingame do you have to change world's to trade it over ? Also when the fresh start is over does ur account get deleted or do they transfer account to main game jw

@@Brandon.Reacts but its not out of nowhere... its all within the 2 closed loops. a person 1 with 100m in OSRS 1 will trade person 2 in OSRS 1 - 100m for 0gp person 2 will then trade to person 1 in OSRS 2 the equivalent. so Person 1 loses money in OSRS 1 and gains money in OSRS 2, and vise versa for person 2. all the swaps do is move money around within the closed ecosystems. it actually helps moves gp around, distributing the wealth.

That's not how money sinks work, money sink implies that money is being destroyed, like you are throwing money down a sink. That's why its called money sink. Nothing here is being destroyed, just traded. Both parties benefit from this, pip gets money for his main server, the other party gets a head start on fresh start worlds which can be used to generate significantly more currency down the road by progressing their accounts faster. Everyone profits so nothing is destroyed
If your new to playing runescape do not click fresh worlds ! Jagex surly have to change the transfer time. Can’t believe I wasted 4 days time playing on it. It’s awful dead worlds awful economy the rich get richer the new players are better on starting not on fresh worlds.

except it's not stuff ingame for stuff ingame, cross server trading doesnt have an ingame interface to handle transactions. It has to be handeled outside of the game , or atleast cross server and across 2 accounts. Which is indinguishable from RMT, person buying GP gets GP traded to them with nothing in return in the trade window, person swapping GP gets GP traded to them with nothing in return in trade window. No difference from what Jagex sees. They only don't ban it because it's too much effort to police it.

Snowball effect. First people to get to high level content get to sell the drops for the most money. Then as the rest catch up, those items become more common and less valuable. This swapping is basically a cheat code and defeats the purpose of this fresh game, so gg ppl like Pip for making it harder for noobs. And yet people complain the game is dying, I wonder why
less gp in economy = gp is worth more . Fresh start worlds are like 4 days old, osrs servers are like a decade old, osrs servers literality have 1000000x the amount of gold on them. Yes it's the same for osrs and rs3, osrs is like a quarter the age that rs3 is so less gold = gold worth more. Age doesn't necessarily correlate with amount of gold on server as it depends on how much gold is destroyed, but in this example there is a relationship between age and gold.

They don't keep the items when it roll over just achievements and lvls I believe or non tradeables
