I was working at PCA stadium mohali with maintenance department as service engineer. It was great time to see this match. My duty was in player section with VVIP pass. I got 3 complemantry passes. As a pakistani i was a massive criket lover and i was 12 years old that time, I remember i could not sleep that night when pakistan lose to india, I cried for my team alone under my blanket while trying to get some sleep. i was mentally so broken, whole night, my mind was like "why shahid afridi played that stupid shot". nowadays I am no longer that much crazy supporter of my criket team, but by watching this game I can so vividly picturize this game, the pain was so real. they way India played throughout was phenomenal, everyone was perfect in indian team of that time but I must say ms dhoni single handedly change the fate and attitude,mindset of indian criket team. and today indian criket team is "The Indian Criket Team" Happy for you neighbours:)
I think Pakistan had their best team ever in the 21st century for this world cup , and it was their fielding that cost them the match. Umar Akmal , Hafeez , kamran akmal , asad Shafiq and misbah all batted beautifully but poor shot selection especially from Hafeez cost them the game. From our team I think Harbhajan Singh's unplayable dusra , munaf Patel's slower ball to razzak and overall brilliant fielding on crucial moments helped us win the game. If Pakistan wants to win championship they need to perform well in all 3 departments not just 1

As a pakistani i was a massive criket lover and i was 12 years old that time, I remember i could not sleep that night when pakistan lose to india, I cried for my team alone under my blanket while trying to get some sleep. i was mentally so broken, whole night, my mind was like "why shahid afridi played that stupid shot". nowadays I am no longer that much crazy supporter of my criket team, but by watching this game I can so vividly picturize this game, the pain was so real.
they way India played throughout was phenomenal, everyone was perfect in indian team of that time but I must say ms dhoni single handedly change the fate and attitude,mindset of indian criket team. and today indian criket team is "The Indian Criket Team" Happy for you neighbours:)

I think Pakistan had their best team ever in the 21st century for this world cup , and it was their fielding that cost them the match. Umar Akmal , Hafeez , kamran akmal , asad Shafiq and misbah all batted beautifully but poor shot selection especially from Hafeez cost them the game. From our team I think Harbhajan Singh's unplayable dusra , munaf Patel's slower ball to razzak and overall brilliant fielding on crucial moments helped us win the game. If Pakistan wants to win championship they need to perform well in all 3 departments not just 1
It was our best playing XI but dropping 4 catches of Sachin Tendulkar is same as dropping catches of Virat Kohli in today's era especially in a very crucial match. Spell of Wahab still glimpse in my eyes. That were the pure days of cricket.
