This song is so significant to me, because in 2018 when my mother had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, I sent her this song. She texted me back, "Thank you, son, I NEEDED this song right now." She went on to be with the Lord a short time later, but I know this song gave her courage during her final days on this earth. I had a really hard and rough evening I was irritated, angry, disappointed and sad, so I just randomly put on Hillsongs new album into play while I went to sleep not knowing any of the songs really. And I woke up at 3AM with the chorus of this beautiful song playing and I began to ball out crying... God told me to be still and know that He is God and that he's set an amazing work into motion that I am made new and I'm completely free and it will follow me for the rest of my days.

I got to know this song when I was staying vigil by my father's bedside while he was bedridden with a terminal illness. I prayed and prayed for a miracle. I was even willing to trade myself for my father to get better. I was beyond desperate. Then this song came along. It then hit me that despite all the sadness and worry, we need to Be Still and trust the Lord. Coz the Lord's ways are mysterious and beyond the remote comprehension of anyone living. 1st thing we need to learn and do is to lean full on Jesus! God grace will never turn us down. There are so many things where we lack, can't do with our own strength but, with Him who will do all things and He doesn't look at our sin but His love for us will set us all free from the dark, storm and sin. Man always thought that they should do great things for God but man always seems to forget that we are nothing if not because of God who accepts and set us free. We are not living in the era of old testament where law is apply. Jesus has come and he brought/shows us God's love. We lived in His great love. Many people will say there is no such things like to good to be true/perfect but, yes praise God for our God is truth and He lives. His love is perfect. No one can deny that for He is God.! So let us all come to Him no matter in what circumstances or problem we have, how sinful we were.. Just come to Him for the one who needed doctor is not a healthy person but sick person. Same goes to us. We need God and He need us too for He loves us all. We doesn't need to be holy to be able to come to Him for He is holy and He will perfected us in His Great Love.

I've never heard of this song before until today. My favorite parts are "Be still and know That the Lord is in control" and "Be still and trust What the Lord has said is done Find rest, don't strive Watch as faith and grace align" I've been having back pains and thought it was all in my head because doctors would tell me it's just my period. But on March 20th, 2023 I went to the doctors all they did was diagnose me based on my symptoms and didn't do any testing. I was in so much pain. I was having multiple pinched nerves and I couldn't walk or anything without feeling like I could pass out from the pain. After a month and finally getting an X Ray and an MRI I was told I have a curve in my spin (not to servere), 3 herniated discs in my L2-L5, arthritis, and something else. Basically, he told me I have the back of a 70 year old and I'm not even in my 20s yet. But this song revealed and reminded me that the Lord is in control and I should trust Him.

I was forced by my narcissistic ex to abort my precious angel boy and after taking the pills and bleeding for a couple of hours I dropped to the floor and begged Abba for my beautiful child. Bleeding stopped soon after that prayer and I found out my baby survived. He is now a charismatic ball of energy at 12 years old. One of the best miracles of my life!

I love Jesus. I follow my God and worship His name. But being broken and wounded, I cannot achieve perfection on my own. As Jesus does, He shows us all we need to see at the time. I have struggled with what I thought was "depression", but it turns out that it's anxiety. I have suffered long hours of doubt, self-defamation, unreal scenarios, a need to constantly balance everything in perfection and loneliness. Shortly after I acknowledged that I was imperfect and I couldn't earn my way into Jesus' favour, I began calling out to Him. He answered back, cutting through the masks and knocking walls down in swathes, I don't think I have ever spent so much time on my knees, in my life. Every tear rolling down my face marked the death of another sin, for I stood pardoned of my sin and shame. Then I opened my eyes to worship, my ears for the faint whisper of His voice and my mouth, to bring the only thing I have left to give; my undivided praise and adoration by song. When I searched TH-cam for videos to worship to, Jesus' sense of humour came into action. "New wine", "Do it Again" and "Reckless love" were the only videos that would play. After days of the same songs, my soul connected the fleeting touch of our saviour and I began to recognise who He is. Confession, prayer and worship, fellowship, testifying and silence left me broken, yet ready for the next step in the journey. But anxiety had other ideas... When an attack was closing in, through the darkness the TH-cam list changed. The first song to begin; Be Still. As it played, the words sounded strange, they made sense but were... different. "Be still and know, that the Lord is in control..." OK, I know that, but how does that... "Be still my soul, stand an watch as giants fall..." Alright, quite a few giants have fallen in my life right now, there are many mor... "I won't be afraid..." I am afraid "You are here..." Please be here, I'm scared... Father... "You silence all my fear..." Jesus, please silence my fear, I want my Father with me *tears rolling down my face* "I won't be afraid, you won't let go, be still my heart and know..." Be still, be still, be still, I need to know *sobbing* "I won't be afraid..." Jesus, help! *collapse to my knees* "Be still and trust , What the Lord has said is done, Find rest don’t strive, Watch as faith and grace align..." I won't be afraid, keep looking for Jesus, keep looking, Father, please... By now the bridge is in full swing, I'm screaming it as loud as my voice can endure, then... calm. Love. Peace. They began to settle as the post-chorus words resonated throughout... "Your love surrounds me, Your love surrounds me..." For a brief moment, it felt like Jesus had his arms gently wrapped around me in a warm embrace. The love of Jesus surrounding me. The anxiety had no choice but to flee, scared away by the powerful burst of love emanating from the room. God was here. This song ministered to me at just the right time, a message crafted as if it going to speak in that very situation. All I have to remember is that God's plan and design is perfect, all I have to give is my all. Thank you for putting scripture into words of song, thank you for providing a platform in which we can offer praise, but mostly, thank you for your obedience and listening to God. Oh my Jesus the timing. I had a really hard and rough evening I was irritated, angry, disappointed and sad, so I just randomly put on Hillsongs new album into play while I went to sleep not knowing any of the songs really. And I woke up at 3AM with the chorus of this beautiful song playing and I began to ball out crying... God told me to be still and know that He is God and that he's set an amazing work into motion that I am made new and I'm completely free and it will follow me for the rest of my days.

I got to know this song when I was staying vigil by my father's bedside while he was bedridden with a terminal illness. I prayed and prayed for a miracle. I was even willing to trade myself for my father to get better. I was beyond desperate. Then this song came along. It then hit me that despite all the sadness and worry, we need to Be Still and trust the Lord. Coz the Lord's ways are mysterious and beyond the remote comprehension of anyone living. Don't be afraid and let the Lord's ways take us where he want us too. Tears then flow as I submit myself and my father to the Lord. I know he is in much better place now, eternally under the wings of the Creater. Amen.

Man always thought that they should do great things for God but man always seems to forget that we are nothing if not because of God who accepts and set us free. We are not living in the era of old testament where law is apply. Jesus has come and he brought/shows us God's love. We lived in His great love. Many people will say there is no such things like to good to be true/perfect but, yes praise God for our God is truth and He lives. His love is perfect. No one can deny that for He is God.! So let us all come to Him no matter in what circumstances or problem we have, how sinful we were.. Just come to Him for the one who needed doctor is not a healthy person but sick person. Same goes to us. We need God and He need us too for He loves us all. We doesn't need to be holy to be able to come to Him for He is holy and He will perfected us in His Great Love.

I've been having back pains and thought it was all in my head because doctors would tell me it's just my period. But on March 20th, 2023 I went to the doctors all they did was diagnose me based on my symptoms and didn't do any testing. I was in so much pain. I was having multiple pinched nerves and I couldn't walk or anything without feeling like I could pass out from the pain.
After a month and finally getting an X Ray and an MRI I was told I have a curve in my spin (not to servere), 3 herniated discs in my L2-L5, arthritis, and something else. Basically, he told me I have the back of a 70 year old and I'm not even in my 20s yet. But this song revealed and reminded me that the Lord is in control and I should trust Him.

I was forced by my narcissistic ex to abort my precious angel boy and after taking the pills and bleeding for a couple of hours I dropped to the floor and begged Abba for my beautiful child. Bleeding stopped soon after that prayer and I found out my baby survived. He is now a charismatic ball of energy at 12 years old. One of the best miracles of my life!

I love Jesus. I follow my God and worship His name. But being broken and wounded, I cannot achieve perfection on my own.
As Jesus does, He shows us all we need to see at the time. I have struggled with what I thought was "depression", but it turns out that it's anxiety. I have suffered long hours of doubt, self-defamation, unreal scenarios, a need to constantly balance everything in perfection and loneliness.
Shortly after I acknowledged that I was imperfect and I couldn't earn my way into Jesus' favour, I began calling out to Him. He answered back, cutting through the masks and knocking walls down in swathes, I don't think I have ever spent so much time on my knees, in my life. Every tear rolling down my face marked the death of another sin, for I stood pardoned of my sin and shame.
Then I opened my eyes to worship, my ears for the faint whisper of His voice and my mouth, to bring the only thing I have left to give; my undivided praise and adoration by song.
When I searched TH-cam for videos to worship to, Jesus' sense of humour came into action. "New wine", "Do it Again" and "Reckless love" were the only videos that would play. After days of the same songs, my soul connected the fleeting touch of our saviour and I began to recognise who He is. Confession, prayer and worship, fellowship, testifying and silence left me broken, yet ready for the next step in the journey. But anxiety had other ideas...
When an attack was closing in, through the darkness the TH-cam list changed. The first song to begin; Be Still. As it played, the words sounded strange, they made sense but were... different.
"Be still and know, that the Lord is in control..." OK, I know that, but how does that...
"Be still my soul, stand an watch as giants fall..." Alright, quite a few giants have fallen in my life right now, there are many mor...

By now the bridge is in full swing, I'm screaming it as loud as my voice can endure, then... calm. Love. Peace. They began to settle as the post-chorus words resonated throughout... "Your love surrounds me, Your love surrounds me..." For a brief moment, it felt like Jesus had his arms gently wrapped around me in a warm embrace. The love of Jesus surrounding me. The anxiety had no choice but to flee, scared away by the powerful burst of love emanating from the room. God was here.
This song ministered to me at just the right time, a message crafted as if it going to speak in that very situation. All I have to remember is that God's plan and design is perfect, all I have to give is my all.

I once was lost and getting dragged by the devil and the devil tried to destroy me and make me end my own life and he wouldn’t let me pray so I had a lot of struggles with praying to God, but after I made a song I heard the sweetest voice of all the voices I’ve heard! It was God’s voice, he was singing my song and he freed me from depression and my suicidal thoughts! I also had a dream where God told me “take my hand and I’ll show you what heaven looks like” and I did what he said!
