I was part of 16 member group that went to Nubra valley. We drove from Srinagar to Leh on a week's trip. It was awesome, un-forgetable and most memorable ( I could add on more adjective!!) trip being among the mountains and rivers, different landscape ranging from coniferous trees, just rocks and barren mountains

It's so much easier to understand routes when drawn like that on paper 😉 This video was so you in the sense and much much much muchhh more real, informative and helpful. I have always loved how you include stories of people you meet and help them get the word out for their small business and even for those wanting to wander. I am happy you do more of the real thing and this video also told me, it's one thing to dream but another to have courage and be brave to step out and travel and that too sincerely, specially in a time like this. Hats off❤

I love your videos Radhikaa..:) My grandma used to tell me stories of the gurudwara pathar sahib. After watching your video i suddenly remembered it. What i heard from my grandmother is that the demon used to trouble the locals for water. And once Guru Nanak's desciple named Mardana was thirsty and so he went up the hill to ask for water, but the demon refused to give. Then Mardana came back and told Nanak that he refused to give water. Nanak told him to go again and ask politely, he went up the hill three times to ask for water but the demon refused then finally the demon threw the stone down the hill at Nanak. But nothing could harm him and then because of his powers the stone turned to wax. Guru Nanak travelled far and wide to spread the message of Ek-onkar that is 'One God'.

When you stand on Magnetic Hill, you see another, steeper slope just ahead, so your brain assumes the road between your feet and that slope is either level or downhill, when in fact it's sloping slightly uphill.
At the peak of the road, just as the pavement appears to decline, a car stopped in neutral will roll backwards uphill. Many believe it's just an optical illusion or Earth's magnetic forces at work. ... Gravity hills, also known as magnetic hills, can be found all over the world.
    This is in Canada!

Info on pather sahib is very wrong.. in ladakhi Guru means a person with a hunch back and the folk lore states about a Lama Guru which translate into a monk with a hunched back.. And this was lost in translation in hindi.

I am going to be 40 yrs old and even now when I see people from other parts of India speaking fluent Hindi I get confused.. It is difficult for me to believe that people understand different languages. It is kind of stupid I know but this is what I feel since childhood. I know it doesn't feel different when you reach at that place. It could be called a lingophobia (I donno the term for phobia of languages he he) or something.. but I think I am totally Indianised now. It would be difficult for me to adjust to any other country after being here for so long. Liberty, Langauge, and Ayurveda are 3 things that I don't see in other places and it makes me proud of being in India. I am seriously in love with my people and my place I think or maybe I am an alien. thanks for making vlogs to make it easy to see different parts and different beautiful people all over the place. Life is certainly a beautiful feeling!
