Great to meet you too! And thank you for taking some pics for me. So glad you guys were able to limit out as well! I'll definitely be seeing you guys out there!
Liked! And subscribed. A few questions of curiosity if I may. 1. You just posted a video from Texas. Do you live in both states or just visiting one? 2. Do you fish Silverwood often - is the striper bite pretty consistent, meaning that you always catch some on every trip? 3. I had no idea that they allowed you to hike INSIDE the buoy lines and fish - no issues? Thanks.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the support. I am in Texas for College but home is SoCal for me. The striper bite at Silverwood is pretty consistent, fishing bait and trolling are usually surefire ways to get them. Recently, I've been having more success trolling, but the bait bite can get pretty hot at times too. I just found out today, and you can read the comment by Addicted2Fishing, that it is possible to get fined for walking inside the buoy lines to fish. There aren't any signs or anything though so I honestly have no idea. Hope this helps!
Addicted2Fishing. I was wondering...LOL. What is the fine? Is it legal to be outside the buoy but cast inside the buoy line? I wonder why they rope it off.
@@addicted2fishing545 HOLY TOLEDO!! Them expensive stripers! LOL! Just went to your channel and subscribed. :) I figure $500 is worth one subscribe. :):):)
Actually, do have one more question. There are a number of warnings about Silverwood Striper being unsafe to eat due to high mercury level. This is different from stocked trough that are brought in from farms. So do you have no concern for the mercury level? I'm genuinely curious. I'm sure that the stripers taste a lot better than their stocked trout. You really did have an epic day.
Personally, I do eat the Striper from Silverwood and think they taste great. I'm not too worried about the mercury levels in the fish. Since most striper we catch are 12"-15", they're going to be 1-2 years old, thus not obtaining too much heavy metals since they're so young. Perhaps the occasional larger fish might have elevated heavy metal levels, since they've consumed much more throughout their lifetime. Again, I'm not too concerned however as these warnings come from the same state that issue prop 65 warnings that warn you of substances that may cause cancer in 90% of fishing equipment 😂
@@b.t.b.outdoors1165 An older gentleman at Diamond Valley Lake tied those for me 5 years ago. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name, but his flies were quality! Another fly that I use is the HogFarmer Baits Tied Swingers in the 1/4 oz size. You can find them on tackle warehouse. Hope this helps!
Great video love watching all the fish that you got... funny thing is watching you fish in the spillway and losing that one fish I guess that’s karma for all the legal things that you did.
Sorry for the late reply, unfortunately I am in Texas now and will be here for the next four months. Be sure to check out my Texas vids! I should be back in Cali for the summer though!

Huge toads bro
silverwood
3 rods is illegal pretty brave especially at the wood be careful
Haha, yeah... I'm rarely by myself so its a habit trolling 3 rods. I realized as I was editing the vid. Will definitely be more careful next time
If you ever need a co-pilot hit me up, I'll even pay for gas!
For sure! I'm in texas for the spring, but I'll be back in the summer! Shoot me an email at isaacliang15@gmail.com if you have any questions.
Nice fish but you should probably do your part and throw your tag ends in your Boat not in the Water.
Thanks for keeping me honest. Yeah, it's definitely a bad habit I'm working on. Thanks for watching the video though!
Tooooo many rules being broke brotha. Be careful💯
You should know California law only allows two rods and a special stamp on your license
