Fun fact, they sell a mount for the controller, so it attaches to the mounting arm. And if you do a review of their product they give you a code for like $15 off next purchase. Which is roughly how much the mount costs.
Dear March, huge fan and love my Reef Casa tanks thank you for innovating. I want to put my Halos to a white light, could you tell me the setting that you use for your displays? Thank you, cheers
I’ve had ecotech AI ever light the UV& Violet channels are the cause for the melting lens. I love. But the four puck versions of the illumagic is the main full fixture. The four puck fixtures have a nice app. You can overdrive any channel and they have a boost function. There great
@@fragboxcorals I hope to be able to place my order soon thank you. In reference to the Pixel Reefer, would one recommend getting a two light setup making them run horizontally? I am trying to decide whether to go with a single AI Prime vs two of the Pixels. Assuming since you’ve got experience with both what are your thoughts?
Mighnt be abit picky but i am not keen on the end of the arm where its just the aluminium should have been black to make it looked fully finished or have a cap
@@wyvernthunder2018 My best guess would be about $800 per 10 US gallons if you stick to shop bought retail stuff... So about $3,200 all in for 40 gallons. You could probably halve that if you just bought tanks and converted them yourself, and then added cheapest possible equipment/livestock.
That’s 20 watts the AI prime is 95 watts no comparison sorry. I love there lens technology on the illumagic that doesn’t let UV and Violent to burn lens. I love your Ghost tank the white tank I love different
For $212 ypu get the full bundle, pixels, mount and the scheduler so it's way cheaper than a prime, plus all the advantages of lifetime warranty and 100% usable spectrum
I really enjoy your videos! On a separate note, it is best to avoid phrases like, "I have been known to discard technologies that don’t work." Statements like that can reflect negatively on how you were raised. Love it man! And thays why we sent you the stuff, great honest reviews from a tough reefer to impress ❤

Thanks so much for doing this review I am very curious!
How about a look on that white tank with both installed together?
I have been using it for a a month now on my 13.5 and it’s pretty good I have both the fragger and the reefer but I’m using the reefer right now
Lights look amazing. 🔥👏🙌💯
Thanks man
Great video 👍
Have yall checked out the illumagic x4? Would love y’all’s thoughts on those.
What size is that white setup vs the black to the right that is empty? I am really considering ordering that white.
Its a 15 gallon, the black one is the same size. reefcasa.com/product/15-gallon-white-aquarium/

Comes with a cap
Yep the cap has fallen off during install I assume
Hi @Fragbox / March,
Is the shadow around the top of the Ghost tank being caused by the sides of the mesh lid?
Cheers,
Rich.
I have the same problem with my AI lights they melt and burn 🔥 out 😅 but still on 😂
never put the channels at 100% too powerful you will burn the plastic and the lamp lasts much less time.. put at 70% maximum
How much do you think it costs to set up a 40 gallon reef tank?
We have a 40. The tank is the least expensive part. Look at Innovative Marine. We have IM40l, they are on sale now.
I mean an entire unit including lights, sump, etc…

That light controller is identical to the NICREW one. Looks like another money-making reefing mark up to me.
For price nicrew is good lamp . Qualite price is good .

Ai primes are 55 watts so still more than double
the ai prime is not 95 watts
