I went through my bookmarks too recently, alongside my latest gathering for a charity shop donation pile, and I matched up bookmarks to books with similar ~vibes~ and hid them inside as a little extra gift for people who chose that book 😊 I love when I buy a book and it has something random inside it!

My bookshelves are the thing that bring me the most joy in my house (followed very speedily by my plants 🌱and then i guess my husband 😂) but i love walking past them and knowing that every single book on them is something I've adored and I'm glad you've got that now too! ❤❤

Instead of bookmarks, I started buying those vinyl water bottle stickers and putting them on thick paper and cutting them out. So much cheaper ($5-9 for 100) and you can get a great variety. I pick the ones I like out, then take the rest to work (med clinic. Kids love them). Just a tip for those who can't afford the pricier bookmarks

I had to laugh when you were organizing your bookmarks and decided to keep the Book Depository one because now it's sort of a historical item. I did the exact same thing today - was about to toss it and then decided to keep one.

Tip for those things that we put anywhere around our house: have a bin ou drawer for it, if it's just a few items one bin for the whole house is fine, if its everywhere and a lot one bin for most rooms 😊

Romance this year is so mid and I’m glad you’re getting them off your shelf if you aren’t feeling them. I’ve stepped back from it except for favourite authors and even then, the books are not hitting.

I love that your content is planned so far in advance. In awe of the commitment and consistency in sticking to your plans and reading set tbrs. As a mood reader that seems like a quick road to slumping but as someone who loves organising and planning that sounds like it might help me focus my reading, so maybe I should give planning my reading a go. Enjoyed getting organised with you!
I plan my reading, but then I also always feel free to change my plans if i want to later. I think it's a good balance.

I was thinking the same! My husband told me I should use a spare bedroom and just add shelves up there and make it a library/office/craft room. I might use my current setup as my TBR shelves and keep collecting them upstairs, slowly but surely.😊
I love unhauling books so much because it annoys me to look at books I didn’t like. If only I could apply this to literally any other aspect of my life

Lollll. The way I already can’t wait for the dinosaur vlog. One of my all time favourite MM romances (Smash & Grab) is a dinosaur shapeshifter romance and it is basically just unbridled chaos 😅😅

Seconding Leech as a recc and making it a point to stress how much I adored the audiobook during my hybrid read last year during the spooky season. I still think about it and it’s definitely one of my favourite of the sci-fi horror genre!
