Magnificent Mongo!!! And What a collaboration of mega stars playing tribute to the composer of Afro Blue...Mongo!!!
This is Life!❤
Throughout several decades, Mongo popularized the use of turbadora (conga drums) in the USA
Mongo the master conguero in superb form.
Buenos días amigos, si buenísimo amanecer con está inovación y cálida, en realidad que todo esté día sea tan agradable como esté amanecer
OMG this was so fire 🔥🔥🔥
AWESOME. CLASSIC
wow, I se❤e Max Roach on Drum set , Tito Puente on Timbales.....
Grande Monguito latin jazz en su maxima expresion
Mr. Quaranta, thank you so much for posting this- I must have a smile on my face a mile wide after watching it... Great solo, also!
I was cracking up watching Eddie Resto; I am also a bass player, and it looks to me like he was probably thinking he was the luckiest fucking bass player in the world that night. I bet he was, too!
One of the best things I've seen, or heard, in quite a while. Good luck to you, and if you ever play in Detroit maybe I'll see you!
Thanks Liam!
Who were the band members beside Tito Puente
Brutalmente bello, que arte tan salvajemente hermoso.
Wow… Bayaaa!!!
Great stuff
Super
Man, I wish it didn't cut off before they finished the song! Is this concert being sold on video, or somewhere else?
My file kept freezing at the end of the track so I did a quick fade. The person who transferred it for me from vhs, a number of years ago has the original files. I'll see if he can send me a file of the full take. If that happens I'll upload it for sure. It was from a cable tv show in Amherst, Mass., so there's nothing commercially available that I'm aware of.
@@bobquaranta29 thank you for the reply! I truly appreciate it.
