I used to live in Mill Valley in the 50s and as kids we'd play in the Old Mill Park. We later moved to San Rafael where my mother was an escrow officer and closed deals for the famous rock artists of the day in the 60s and 70s. Great video.

Mill Valley of the 80's and into the 90's was a really nice place. Downtown was not crowded ever, and there was always a curbside parking spot. Restaurants were numerous and great. The Avevue Grill legendary. Ino Sushi was too. Then the town tried to capitalize on the real-estate, built it up geared to the very affluent (rich snobs) and the vibe changed to smarmy.
Overall, too many people and cars everywhere including all the way up into the hills and canyons for it to be livable anymore.

We love Mill Valley and Marin in general. We've spent lots of time there over the years given a family connection. However, we could never afford what we have in western New York. So we live here and vacation there.

Good information Jeff! Should have these for all the areas that Buyers can view before looking in different areas, particularly when they are not familiar.

I love Mill Valley ❤ I lived there for 1,2 years
Very safe, I love the community! It’s perfect for families ! The only thing I hateee it’s some narrow streets with car of the both sides parked, and also the super up hills inside of mill Valley that I always stressed…but if u don’t mind will be perfect for u bc the views are the best there! My fav playgrounds there it’s Boyle park u can play tenis, freeman park, old mill park, very close to Sausalito ❤❤❤❤ and the Stinson beach
    30 min to San Francisco
    I really love Mill Valley

it’s very different than the old days, it has moved beyond affluent now to ultra wealthy.. most nice homes are $5 million plus.. that’s ultra rich

Thank you for sharing your videos. Could you do a video of public transportation at Mill Valley. Planning book a hotel in the area and taking public transportation to go SF & Golden Gate Park.

To clarify, those with and without have coexisted, sharing peace and joy since day one. It's the millenial a-types in the finance industry with their shopping bags and blinders who muck it up.
