It's not his wheelhouse, when you're used to spending from the start It's difficult to adjust to a pace. You just spend a bit more and walls fall, he's trying to assemble a puzzle he doesn't really want to.
Just a bit sad, I found it a bit annoying complaining throughout the whole of the vid over every content creator. In character, I know, but a bit annoying.
I love hearing Deadwood's laugh in the background randomly. He's got the best laugh, and when he's laughing at someone complaining it makes it absolutely hilarious!

@@georgiosFreeman Urogrim is good but got massively nerfed, needs a ton of books and isn't even a top 5 dungeon solo champ anymore. Plarium hit Urogrim hard, he's not quite great for the CB, and is just decent in other spots now. He's good, but for a void he is well below great.
Saph: Waah, im so unlucky, I dont have any damage to beat doomtower 30! Also Saph: I made defensive and hp based support-type champion as my second and third 60. He made good progress and he is right, he will progress alot with an ally protector
This f2p series has been so massive for Raid. It's refreshing and it seems like it's brought life back into not only the game, but all the cc's as well.

Saph really needs to let other people enjoy their accounts in this challenge lol, his constant complaining and attempts to relativise their progress throughout this video is a bit annoying imo. It also appears to me that Saph is too focused on the competitive aspect of the f2p challenge and forgetting that Raid is a marathon not a sprint.
Man listening to Saph's woes is so good. I hope this really drives home a point for many content creators (we know Plarium won't get it). When you aren't whaling out, the game becomes a lot harder - especially with the doom tower (not even going near end game content).
I'm happy with my ftp journey, but I think everyone's luck is different. Lol u can tell by Saph's tone he is just white knuckling it. Haha. I feel YST is in the back grinning behind his Genzin mask .
tbh I think he has trouble scaling down. He's great at min maxing but at the start you can get away with a lot less and he seem reluctant to push suboptimal choiches thus adding to his frustration. I'm following eharbad and his account is arguably a lot worse, yet he's pushing his champion pool potential to its limits. Very educational serie of videos

I absolutely love this one! It is great to see all the contestants and hear their strategy and see what has worked and what hasnt, and then listen to the other guys rip on them for something. This was great. Cant wait to see the next one where everyone is back again. Keep up the great work gang!!!
For Lady H, Melga is HUGE pull. She is still in my CB team after a freaking year. She is so incredibly beefy and keeps your team healthy with her big shield.
Saphy boy, there's an Acolyte staring at me in your roster. I took that to 40 to get passed the Nether Spider ;) He's actually also quite good in regular Spider because of the TM reduction and tm fill on his a1. You do need to try to get lucky with 1 book in a3 though but he's really quite good for a rare.
Very happy with my free to play journey 6months in. Luck of shard pulls definitely matters, but I think the comparison to others and the competition in general makes it less enjoyable than the approach and mindset of a successful ftp player. For me personally, the race to compete goes against the purist free to play mentality, which is more slow and steady with a focus on efficient use of resources. It's a marathon and this ftp competition makes it a race! Having said all that I'm really glad all content creators are doing this (few cc are missing unfortunately) and we get to enjoy the entertainment. Thanks to Hell Hades for organizing this and all content creators involved!
Just watched this video, it’s quite long and waited for a day off. And I loved it lol especially hearing the background laughter of Deadwood Jedi, hands down my favorite part of the video lol
I think Saph is just in entirely the wrong mentality. He's refusing to use the champs he has because they aren't as good as champs he COULD get. That's not FTP life. Not gearing/booking champs that will fill a role in your teams because champs you don't have are better at it is... silly. Sure you MAY get screwed but even then they'll PROBABLY be used somewhere (faction wars or doom tower)
this is the point of any game...to have fun with friends...and to make convos about..exchange infos and exprs...realy liked alot that video...and laughed alot..thanks you guys.

Plarium screwed this F2P challenge from the start by inputting a temporary ‘test’ of free legos for new accounts (immediate mercy), only to give people following the series a false image of the start of the game. They obviously have changed this, but it gave some an advantage from the start.
You know Occult Brawler was one of my very first epic pulls and I remember my initial thought being "He poisons himself? What crap." He's now my #2 damage dealer in CB.

Nearly 3 years as F2P and I am only on my 3rd set of eyeballs. I have no hair left except the stuff growing on my back and inside my ears. There is no way I would have started another one of these. Lady H, I bow to you. Do not despair, it will get worse. Then despair.
I might have been right on my first thought that the pull goes by what champion you start with. My luck getting other good champions was rough. I picked Galek as my started champions and it took over a year to almost 2 to even pull an apothacary.
I think that this f2p challene has shown saph to be a bit of complainer and a baby. part of the problem is he hasn't embraced the challenge, and that he's lacking in 6 stars, which he he needs for the raw stat value they bring. Rhonda on an f2p is a game changer, but he's too end game and a little close minded to accept that
He's doing it on purpose. Everyone has a role in this group, YST has his persona, HH has his, and Saph has to be the foil otherwise everyone is too positive.
Just have Saph delete this account and go back to his account where he can whale out and stop whining so damn much. He can't be happy for anybody else's success

Hey I used to play raid back in the day, I've been back playing for about 2 months and according to my brother have great champion luck, but my game knowledge is lacking, how do I get involved with an account take over I feel I can move to 20 all dungeons and ultra nightmare but I'm stuck around 17 and 3 key nightmares. Can you please let me know how to go about the account take overs?
I feel like ppl base lucky on getting a leggo. I'd argue that pulling apothecary in your first couple of days makes you 5/5 lucky. You can book him fully within a week and he will carry you through basically every aspect of the game. Getting a leggo is great, but if their cd's stay at 4 or 5 turns because you can't book them, it totally diminishes their value.
I pulled zero legendary champions. From my first sacred shard I got a second Mordecai. But with Diabolist and Warpriest I was still the first to hit Gold V, ahead of Wix, and I then nearly reached Platinum. The arena remains broken.
im out here and i havent pulled a single epic outside of the 1 guaranteed one from ancient mercy and 1 sacred from campaign. Cant even farm brutal 12-3 yet. This is the f2p experience for me. Happens every time.

Only some players had this experimental new-player mercy system. I dropped out when I heard that. Plarium ended their test shortly after.
That was a very long one; however, I enjoyed seeing everyone's progress and all the great banter.

Oddone has had insane progress! It's unbelievable he has a full team of 60s and deadwood is smacking cb!
Lady H is the best part of this. She doesn’t realize how relatable she is. This game is not easy to understand even if you’re an experienced gamer.
I play like Eharbad and rooting for him, he has been playing for efficiency for so long that he really knows how to push levels with suboptimal champs
