Unironically, Darth's 1st verse still is the ONLY verse makes my insanely hype(other than Babe's 2nd verse). The "fire'd up" scheme is the craziest scheme to ever be thought up by ERB.
I've said it once and I'll say it again. Vader's verse in part 3 is the sauciest, most brutal, and impactful verse in ERB history. This man made the entirety of their long battle irrelevant with one verse. Idc man, you rewatch it as much as you need to but that verse will forever be solidified for me as the greatest verse in ERB.
Great list, glad to see Kubrick and Oppenheimer get some recognition. Personally I'd add literally any verse from Monroe vs Cleo, probably Cleo's second, plus Wayne Gretzky's 2nd or 3rd. That "And I set 183 of them!!" went hard
According to urban legend, at least, when the Kremlin was built Ivan asked the architect if he would design another palace like it. The architect immediately agreed, so Ivan had his eyes put out so that nobody would ever have a palace like his. That's where the 'tear out my eyes' line came from.

ERB is one of the few channels on TH-cam that most people would say had more wins than losses. I’d say around 65% were wins, while 35% of the battles were flops. For the amount of content, that is beyond impressive.
I've been working on a tier list of every ERB battle, and "Alexander the Great vs Ivan the Terrible" is sitting comfortably in S tier (I think it's #3 overall)
I'd like to name Vince Offer's verse and Lance Armstrong's second verse as honorable mentions, especially cuz Armstrong's second verse is what makes Ruth's second verse hit extra hard in my opinion, cuz Armstrong coulda just won the battle then and there. As for Offer, I mean, I like his aggression in tearing into Franklin in such a short amount of time.
Freddy Krueger did ok, but got destroyed so bad I can never consider him hard. And you didn't add Wolverine instead of him? But this was a fun highlight of some ERBs, planning on more maybe?
You cannot tell me that Babe Ruth does not deliver a more decimating verse than any other rap battle in the ERB history. However, Oppenheimer's gives me literal chills when he says "Fissile material." So I'll give a nod to that verse too. I think Wolverine vs Freddy is REALLY good and it's sad that we don't have a sequel for that.
Idunno, I was actually upset they put Freddy's first verse in, when Wolverine annihilated this man on the atomic level with the rebuttal literally like two lines later. Sucks 101% of the energy out of Freddy's verse, to me
Frankly, the babe ruth one is the most brutal, purely because it actually has a moral lesson. Its pretty rare where one side of these has a legitimate high ground.
I truly believe that Ivan vs Alexander was the peak battle of ERB. Even Ivan's verse is freaking fire
I don't think it's the best one, but I do think that Michael Jordan vs Muhammad Ali was peak ERB (it feels like the most ERB ERB if that makes sense)

5:17-6:13 is arguably the absolute best verse, lyrics and music, that ERB has ever put out
Oppenheimer's delivery is everything. The bars cut deep, but that delivery drew way more than a drop of blood.
Frederick the Great has one of the greatest verses of all time, especially since his was so short. Explosive bars, even an epic falsetto
