It Could well be a case of plagiarism or at least copyright infringement though as David torn the composer of said pieces was not paid a dime and never knew of cube (the film), devil may cry, Silent hill origins , RE4 and many others using the sample up until past year or so. Not sure if the CD was royalty free but if it aint it's definitely lawsuit worthy.

For some reason this image, despite it's forboding context, makes me think of a young Gore Magala sitting on a cliff overlooking a wide open field. It can't see the field, the rolling rivers and streams going through it, the birds chirping in the trees, said trees rustling in the wind...yet it can hear and feel all of it. And so it sits on the cliff, taking a much needed nap from it's daily struggle through surviving its wild world.
This came A YEAR BEFORE Re4, and even though I love Re as much as any other game, y'all should stop saying that MH copied Re. Re didn't directly copy MH, they sampled it in their own theme, and that was a time when people could sample main melodies from other songs into their songs without all the copyright sh*t, so yeah, (and the ORIGINAL song is called burble and pine) . And y'all should also realize that MH and RE are both the property of Capcom, and silent Hill AND DMC as well (they also used this exact theme) so yeah they can do anything with their games. But let's be honest RE4 sounds better lmao
