The main reason being the financial frustrations and as you put it falling into a trap of not being able to afford to market yourself properly without adding more stress. For auditions - Some offices will accept self-tapes, but this usually will come from your agent, manager, or casting directly. For acting classes - see what your schedule can make work. Every step counts!
