What dedicated air filter would be more effective than this? I had three giant heppa filters in my house. After building the Corsi Rosenthal box, it's like those filters were doing absolutely nothing. It's like night and day.
A built in whole house filter would be ideal since it would connect to the central air and would be able to filter all rooms. Those are significantly more expensive though. Glad to hear that your experience with the Corsi Rosenthal Box was good. In our tests we were able to clean a 600 square foot living room of moderate wildfire smoke in a few hours. The 4X MERV 13 filters are quite effective.
Thanks for watching. The 2 inch filters are most effective for airflow but 1 inch filters will save some money which will drop the overall build to below 100. As well these filters do go on sale and we should have one coming up soon this fall. Box fans can be bought new for as low as $35 or second hand for even less. This will obviously change with inflation and also depends on your region.

If the four filters cost $88, where do you buy the box fan for $12?
