Like myself, I did not know what the screwdriver was for. My stabilizers were so old, they did not want to stick anymore lol. My Janome 230E memory craft machine just stopped working. When I switch the machine on, it makes a loud creaking noise and the mobile bar isn't mobile anymore. I just used it to monogram 4 clothes and it worked just fine only for it to sudden start embroidery towards the left instead of towards the right, then came the creaking sound. Please, what can I do?
I read that this model was discontinued which is why I am now able to purchase it. Are you still able to get parts? Dont want to commit if I won't be able to fix it if it breaks. Thanks!
Does this machine do regular sewing as well? I’m looking for a sewing machine to replace my old Kenmore, and the embroidery would be a fun bonus. How many stitches does it have? Thanks!
Pls can a photo fast memories cable work on janome 250e, cos I don't ve a laptop, (which I can copy graphics with flash from) but I do ve a iPad which I can copy photos from with photo fast memories cable. Tnx

When I choose the file from the USB, there ara an error appear to me said ( too many stitches) . Do you know why? Or what is the problem?

It only embroiders. But I have seen other models that offer both.

You need a program to convert it. Once it’s converted you can use a flash drive to upload the image

Hello!! How can I transfer an image/pic from the computer to the machine. I can’t figured it out yet.
You have to use a program. I used Hatch. From there I transferred to my usb. Then connected it to the machine

I used a program to transfer the images. They have to be digitized before you transfer. Embrilliance is a great program
You put JEF files on a simple USB key and the machine can read them.

Would this machine work to embroider designs (shoulder to shoulder) onto tshirts and sweatshirts or is it too small?
The workspace isn’t that big. You can get a bigger size but it still won’t be enough to do shoulder to shoulder.
