I've been buying a few 5 gram Pamp and Perth bars just because it's about all I can afford at these prices, but I bought when it was cheap and I'll buy a little when it's high as well. If some interruption to my job or pay would occur, it's nice to know precious metals are there for us, preserving our wealth in troubled times.
Only 12,000 of those 1980 2 Rand coins minted. .2354oz AGW. I did a major silver for gold trade this weekend @ the GSR of 71.85. I converted what those silver coins cost me to 2020 dollars using the inflation indicator and determined the gold cost to be US$1448/oz. The dealer was happy because he can sell the silver for a higher mark up and the gold coins are rare made for collector coins, which have a theoretical high premium. Like #53.
Yep we stopped in 2011 when silver hit 24...I'm just happy for all we picked up in the past when Prices were much much lower...Going to sit on the sidelines for now!:))) Some nice Gold there! We put a 1/4 oz. On layaway before it got over 2k...My Favorite size.👍
I am in agreement with your wait and see approach on Silver. I have a fraction of the silver you do. But, I enjoy my silver acquisition avg is $15.60 an Oz . I just can’t pull the trigger on silver now at these prices. Who cares if I miss a quick flip opportunity. I like to Win by buying Low...wait wait wait and sell high. when /if silver gets near $39 an Oz I will sell 40 to 50 % of my stack and wait again. Many YT channels have to buy buy , then say to wait, then they buy again a few days later and say OH Well and give an excuse. I guess they need to stay relevant to get views and do live-streams .And they can just sell silver straight thru their TH-cam channel or have auctions and make some profit from subscribers that way Funny to see the evolution of many former No Name channels a year or more ago. But it is time consuming for them and they do entertain the crowd so GO FOR IT 👍 You are one of the Great channels still out here BSM 👏👏
I agree with Big Stack. Dips happen at odd moments like March. I like the designs of Silver Shield. Freedom Girl etc. Recently, 07/21/20 I locked in a spot of $18.50 for four 5-oz. Aztec Calendar from Golden State Mint with a hefty premium of almost $7/per oz. = $507.00. Very nice, intricate, 2.5" diameter. My timing was luck.

I find it very difficult buying anything at these prices. I am with you on holding off right now. The prices could drop..... the prices could rise. I am happy with my stack as it is now, but if there is a dip in the future, I will be adding for sure.
Big Stack, I wanted to ask if you’ve seen any eBay Bucks deals lately. I used to get 5%, 8%, and 10% deals for eBay Bucks regularly - but haven’t seen any for months. I don’t know if they stopped the offers or if I am out of the algorithm now?

Why would you ever buy a silver eagle from Apmex? They hold the “claim to fame” to offering the highest possible prices on almost everything on the market. Sorry, just had to add that.

Over the last eight years, I have been stacking hard when silver was under $20. Over $20 I almost bought nothing. So I am in a holding zone now.
