Rayne should've had to live with the consequences of her actions. Killing her off was such an easy way out, would've been a lot more satisfying for her to live her life in isolation cos she had been caught out. Still, looking forward to finding out how she died, I'm thinking suicide cos she mentally broke down and couldn't face the consequences of her actions, but we'll see.
It's the victor situation all over again. Because rayne was another villain that got killed off too quickly instead of facing repercussions for her actions. This is starting to become an annoying pattern on hollyoaks 🙄🤣

my money’s on Brent. he flipped like a switch when Rayne said she didn’t want to be with him. he also disappeared. everyone who was there is accounted for except for Brent. the quick shot of the ring light and mention of a wound on Rayne’s head was very telling if this is the case. i bet he knocked her unconscious with the ring light, then held her underwater in the pool so she’d drown.

I agree. Owen's performance was simply superb. Methinks he may have more than a little experience dealing with this subject, with dating Stephanie Davis. Total masterclass right there.

I was looking forward to this episode, but it just fell flat. Some of the acting was so wooden. Also, adding the scenes of Darren and Tony holding a random pub quiz totally ruined the vibe and wasted time. Then there's all the questions. When did Prince and Faye become a thing? How did the Nettie thing summon everyone to the pool for a surprise at the exact moment Rayne was in the pool? When everyone found out that Rayne had lied about Prince assaulting her, why did nobody react? Only Lizzie who finally piped up "thats evil". Come on man, thats it? Nobody else said a word. Why did Romeo jump into the pool so dramatically, instead of sliding in like a normal person? Why did he just announce that Rayne was dead? No attempt to try and revive her at all? We all know that you can be in water and still be resuscitated, obviously it depends how long you've been under. He didn't know how long she had been under, yet still declared her dead without any attempt to save her.😂

This just goes to show how much hatred a bad woman gets compared to a bad man. There have been plenty of male characters that have done unspeakable things but still get forgiven like Warren, Cain from Emmerdale, Phil from Eastenders etc.
