Nice job with the video, but is it just me or is that footage from Bootstrap Island instead of Pirates VR? I could be wrong but I thought the volcano was the Bootstrap Island thing. Looking forward to the full review of Arken Age. Really hope Vitruvius nailed it, as it looks like it improves on Shadow Legend in every way.
you might be right there, as they’re right next to each other in my files! doesn’t help i’ve gotten them confused about 7 times in the last week! Hopefully Arken Age lives up to your expectations :)
Same here, the spawn rates are ridiculous and I've not been getting on with the gripping mechanics at all. I also really dislike the flat screen weapon/hand sway when moving. The game is such a huge disappointment. 😑
Very interesting that Swordsman sold better on PSVR2 than Quest in December. Growing number of such developer revealed anecdotes on how the smaller install base of PSVR2 just has better software adoption than Quest. I think a key contributor for this is because of Quest+ subscription. Indie games do best on Steam and Switch because no subscription like PS+ or Xbox GamePass that influences player behavior to just play the subscription games and otherwise wait. I think Quest+ is doing that on that platform.
@@steffendetrick A lot of new Quest 3 / 3S were sold, as were a lot of PSVR2 in December, and for this one game it got more new sales on PSVR2 than much bigger install base of Quest headsets in this month. I assume the total sales will favor Quest (2, Pro, 3, and 3S combined) because it has always been popular (evergreen sales) and released in June 2022 for Quest 2 and then didn't come to PSVR2 until PSVR2 launched in February 2023. If selling more on PSVR2 than Quest is because net new Quest hardware owners didn't increase as much as net new PSVR2 users, that means a lot of the Quest 3 / 3S sales this season were Quest 2 users upgrading. Otherwise, the new Quest 3 / 3S users are just buying different games than Swordsman VR. Swordsman VR was in the top 10 best selling PSVR2 games for December at number 7 for US / Canada region, but not in EU or Japan.
@ I would agree with that to an extent. I can tell you there are definitely a lot of new Quest users because the social media groups have been flooded with new users asking questions. In November on Amazon, the Quest sales peaked at 170,000 units a month and 30,000 a month for the PS VR2 how many exactly were new users it’s hard to say, but I know it was a lot. For the month of December on iPhone the horizon app for the quest was the number one downloaded app in the App Store(new users) . And as far as a different demographic, I don’t think that’s the case because Blade and sorcery is always in the top five selling games every month on the Quest app. I honestly think some games just don’t get the same attention on some platforms that they do on others. There is also a lot more games on the quest. If I’m being honest, a lot of those games are also not very good but I think it does bury games especially when Quest users will give anything a good review.
I dont find the aliens spawn that often,i read a few saying you can count down to when the aliens appear again but that hasnt happened for me.once i kill a few it gives me a breather for a while
Already competed Alien did not find it that hard. I swear after being in the same area for a while the waves relax to let you figure out what it is you working if it's something like a fuse box.
First! Nice one Jammy. Ive got Alien just havent jumped in yet. Need a chunk of time i think. Exocars can't be far off, Arken Age this Thursday, Hitman upgrade soon... happy days. I have suuuuch a backlog. Oh, my VR rock push ons came at Christmas. Great buy! Crystal clear
Jolly Roger looks very Call of of the Mountain visually from the footage I've seen; it's clearly taken some cues from other exploration games but that's no bad thing if it's fun
After finally a great discount for puzzling places.. im glad I can play it now. Honestly the game is surprisingly sayisfying with its sounds and animated puzzles
Yea I only bought the bundle because they were discounted to the same price. I personally don't like the horizon franchise but my friends and family might like call of the mountain. US btw.
Is there any info as far as further hardware replacement support. I have 2 vrs one has stick drift the other has faulty triggers. I have to send both back and the process has been hell. Paid $800 jus to play vr and both controllers fault straight out the box
Vr rock lens NOT WORTH IT, used ur code. I order magnetic prescription lens, but did not get magnetic option, and the lens are poor quality. Creates a worse fishbowl lens effect. Position of the lens has to be literally perfect to see sharp, if u move ur eyeball and not ur head, its blurry and will not focus. Do not buy presciption version
@Jammyhero, you say you "personally use these on your headset" so I'd be interested to hear your reply to this. I might be wrong, but your ad read sounded kinda scripted, so I'm wondering if they're actually any good. You don't want to be the honey shill here.
@owensparks5013 i’ve done reviews of both styles of lenses on the channel and use them every day. ad reads are scripted, but you can check out some of my live streams where i talk about them more naturally too :) Some people don’t like them and that’s fair though - although I’m sponsored i won’t censor any people’s thoughts you’ve bought them.

@@Jammyhero Pretty easy to get them confused tbf, at least visually.
🍻
keep up the terrific work jammy.....my favourite PSVR 2 channel by a country mile.👍
I literally haven't played much of Alien Rogue Incursion because of the spawn rates when I'm trying to figure out how to complete a task.
Yea aliens was a real letdown
Same
I thought it was fixed already, been playing it today and i dont feel overwhelmed with the aliens
@robertmcmahon4549 The last day I played it was January 8th, which was over 3 weeks after release. They had not fixed it st thst time.

I wish 4 more VR physical copies, especially Alien.
Thanks for showing off The Obsessive Shadow! I’m proud of it and I can’t wait to show yall what’s cooking!
Hit us with an update on Pools when you can 🤞🏻
Subbed, btw!
See if you can get in touch with Blair Renaud about low fi . His last update was december and was just a list of features .
Appreciating your contents, keep it up!!! Cheers from Italy 🎉 psvr2 gets better and better
Pirates VR looked neat

That’s also only one month. Swordsman VR has been out for a while. I think a total sales number would be more relevant.

Isn’t the game you’re showing bootstrap island?
Any sign of the airplane games!??
I got VR Rock and honestly it’s amazing! I highly recommend. I have the prescription ones
What about Disc sales? i ordered Behemoth physical and prefer to own PSVR2 physical versions

YOOO I HEAR THAT MONKEY ISLAND MUSIC. banger.
Do you know if roblox will ever get a psvr2 port?
what’s the point of prescription lens? just wear glasses!

Vr Lens Lab prescription lenses are the ones i use. I would recommend them purely on protection and ease of cleaning.
I'm sorry your VR Rock lenses were not good quality. I ordered my snap on lenses from VROPTICIAN and I've had no problems.
