I own an Activa 2G (my mom's scooter since 2011-12) and one day my college classmate tells me that he's brought his Activa 6G and I was really excited to see how this once a worthy machine looks now. Safe to say it was one of the most underwhelming moments of my life... You'd need Sherlock's abilities to differentiate between the two unless someone tells you which one is which..

@@motorinc I have a Question for Shumi Sir. If you had to recommend a bike which delivers a launch experience like a commercial Jet taking off and is relatively easy to live with; like a street naked, what would it be?😄
Honda cb300f or cb300r. These 2 have the best power to weight ratio in its class. It has excellent acceleration because the weight is less, it's like putting 300cc engine in 150 cc Honda unicorn.
I never thought I was going to watch the full video. I mean who watches 40 min video about a single vehicle. But man this one is crazy. I’m new to this channel. And For sure I’m going to be a regular listener to this kind of sessions moving forward.
I've seen the new Jupiter 110 in person and in my neighborhood the no of new Jupiters are rising. And they really look awesome. It was nice steady evolution of the design TVS did with Jupiter 110.
The conversation is so professional and charismatic with the background and the editing quality that it doesn't feel like they are just talking about a family scooter. Nice man, the whole team really nailed it. It's really a kind of entertainment for auto enthusiasts who have been bored by just mundane specifications.
Another Jupiter 125 owner right here, Father bought the scooter after I had a crash on the old activa 125 and had the engine knocked(due to which the crash happened). Agree on the throttle heaviness part of it and agree, it’s a bit of a work in traffic but I’ve gotten used to it. It’s been just over a month like 32 days since we bought the scooter and it already has 1300 km on it. And I can also confirm that the handling of the scooter is just amazing, because I lean the vehicles quite often as my commute has a lot of good corners so I do that and I can almost get my knee down on the Jupiter 125 but couldn’t do it on the activa. The chassis is just in a really good place. Also, glad they have toned down the indicator noise from the 110 to 125 and still hate that side stand alarm beeeeeep.
TVS service experience in Kalpetta, Wayanad is very good. They do an instant and great job with my Jupiter. They also let me inside and show me and explain various mechanisms once they open my scooter. It's not only a fun learning experience but the technicians seem skilled and courteous. This one is 40 kms from my house, but I wouldn't go to any other service centre nearby as some of their other service outlets are horrendous.
That works out well for you. Problem is that a good experience at TVS SVCs are an exception rather than the rule. And this is true throughout the country judging by various comments under TVS related content. So yeah, they really do need to address this.
I am ex Jupiter 110 and current Jupiter 125 owner, - Issue about fuel filler cap is true. In fact at all the petrol pumps warn me that if fuel spills out on auto mode, it's not their fault which is kind of true. - About auto start-stop, I even have to apply breaks without which engine won't start along with the blip. - TVS is still not good at service. - Also heard TVS had made changes to battery. I had to replace Jupiter 125 battery within a year and I was not alone. - Seat lock stops working after an year. I experienced this for Jupiter 110 & 125 both.
I've never been denied by any petrol pump to fill my Jupiter 125 since 2 years. Some complain that it's not good design but no one mentioned about spillage. Some put the entire nozzle inside and it auto cuts immediately and I ask to raise it a little and it works fine. Sometimes it overflows so I calculate in such a way that when the low fuel shows 30km (30km travelled since low fuel warning) I fill 350 in petrol and it'll be just right.
About the auto start stop infact applying the brake and bliping the throttle is like a safety feature sometimes in heavy traffic if by mistake blip throttle aggressively can go and crash on the front vehicle
Recently sold the jawa classic, and repaired an old access just enough to get it running. easy nature of this scooter makes the office commute so fun. Indian scooters are probably the best version of the scooters. So light, easy, simple and dependable. The frugal thinking makes sometimes the most practical products.
It looks absolutely stunning... Saw one in person yesterday... The design is leagues ahead of the bland Activa design we see on every commuter scooter... Way to go TVS...👍
I got a used Wego 2015 recently. I always had a perception that scooters are just functional. And I guess they still are, but I was surprised how well TVS was able to nail Wego. Tvs did a really good job with the Wego, and its a pretty looking underrated scooter.
They took everything that they learnt from the Wego, made it better & put into the Jupiter which is why it's the second best selling scooter in our country.
In my hometown, people don't opt for home delivery of cylinders because it costs extra. Instead, they tie the cylinder to their motorcycle seat and bring it home. Ever since scooters became more common, they place the cylinder on the floorboard and bring it that way. I've been seeing this since childhood, and that's how it used to happen at my home too. My dad would wake up around 4-5 in the morning to go get the cylinder. Strange but true.😅😅
As someone who hates the Activa (and modern Honda) with a passion, it's always fun to hear Shumi talk about the Activa. As usual, learnt a lot from the conversation, even though it's a vehicle not even tangentially on my radar. Also, the Ather's accelerator is really hard too, and I was uncomfortable with it. Even after years of riding (and being a mechanically hypersensitive individual), I hadn't put my finger on it - shows the value a couple of seasoned pros like you guys bring. Cheers!
I have to drive a lot for work and listening to Motorinc on the car radio is what I have switched to mostly in lieu of music, the production quality is so good, that it puts a lot of other podcasts sound just meehh! On a side note, the intro music is brilliant, whoever has composed it.
I think TVS is making an effort to improve their service. I own a Ntorq and have received feedback calls a week after each of my last two services to check if everything went well. During the last call, I mentioned a side-stand sensor issue that wasn’t resolved during the service, and they fixed it for free the next day.
yesterday we had an family talk about how we should replace our 7 year old Activa 3g and i suggested Jupiter 110 . and now shumi and kartik uploaded this video. Are you guys watching me from some kind of monitor 😅
I have jupiter 125 and it service in A.K.C BHARTI MOTORS[ Bihar sharif] wow because of their service and staff behaviour. I have purchased the new jupiter 110 and it is wow purchase for me. In this the riding experience is so smooth and comfortable . And what you tell about it is good scooter i like it... It really is a good scooter.
Very engaging video! Loved it! I sold my apache rtr 160 4v in about 5 months partly because of how the service centre treated me. I didn’t want to be associated with something where my money was not valued. When a customer buys a product the company is forever in debt to that customer and they oath to treat him/her better. Without customers it’s only a matter of time before that company goes bankrupt. PS: i made a promise to myself there wont be a tvs product in my house ever again no matter how good it is.
Great detailed review as usual, Karti and Shumi. While I can personally accept the safety angle of the AutoStart feature, even though it can be a bit annoying, a recent incident involving my cousin underscores its importance. She accidentally throttled her friend's electric scooter while casually chatting on the road, which resulted in the scooter pulling her forward and causing multiple fractures. On another note, the reliability of the Honda Activa is a key reason for its sustained popularity, despite the lack of new features or updates. I've personally owned an Activa for over 13 years, and it has been remarkably dependable, requiring just a service every 2,000 kilometers to keep running smoothly. From a service stand point, my experience has been bad with dealer networks in Bangalore.
I'm only a quarter of the way through the episode and I'm loving how savage Shumi is about the Activa! I rode hired Activas recently on a holiday and they felt so underwhelming. None of the rental places I went to had anything else available, so I couldn't compare the Activa to anything else. I would've loved to have a Jupiter or even a Scooty Pep for comparison. I guess it makes sense for rental agencies though. The Activa will run regardless of how badly customers abuse it, and a bad but always running scooter is more profitable than a good scooter that needs regular service.
I like how putting the cylinder on the floorboard is a point of discussion. You know, sometimes there are just emergencies, and you have to do what you must do.
I have 0 interest in vehicles, but alot of it in tech, so naturally EV's were the first moving machines which got my attention, one day I found a great comparison video of 3 best selling 2 wheeler EVs,, it was your video, next day one of your video comes up, it's a podcast related to vehicles, but suddenly I was interested, and when I went to buy my own bike, I actually had intrest knowing more about it other then it's milage and maintenance fees, the question "is 125 cc enough for me?" comes up in my mind, although the answer to that question was "yes" but because of you I have started to notice bikes on streets, started to care how wide my tyre is, what oil my bike consumes,, and most importantly I have started to feel how alive bikes are,, so keep it up, you actually made atleast one person to care for vehicles, my next one most probably will be more then a commutor 😉
I can vouch for that too. I never had any interest in any bikes, I have only rode on scooty throughout my life. We have bought a new Jupiter 125 and I am teaching my partner to drive it. Initially I thought about buying one lightweight girly scooty for her once she learns to ride, but after listening to MotorInc for a while, I have scrapped the plan. She can have the Jupiter, I will go with any 300+ cc bike.
i share shumi's frustration with the activa. But honda has built such a reputation with the first activa ,that in almost all household scooter is activa
I own both and trust me i just feel like getting Active scrapped as it turned such a bad and uncomfortable (suspension comfort) scooter . That katoori (dish blowl like suspension) wala suspension is 💩
About the Kick starter. If someone has multiple vehicles, investing in a battery charger is a nice option. Not using a bike for a week can lead to no start, specially in cold places. Plugging battery connections off when leaving for more than a couple of weeks is another good option.
I also connected + - ulta pulta, and fuse gone, good that it had an extra fuse, so i could get back home. Tools and little bit of knowledge should be general.
We have the OG Honda Aviator - purchased in 2008. Having clocked more than 80k kilometers till date, I was amused to find out how stable and comfortable this scooter is compared to a friends Activa 125 (purchased in 2021 - with 30k kilometers). Its more like Honda knows how to make good products, but we do not demand better products. Shumi's hate for Activa is well place!!
That last line is bang on @harshaldongre849. Honda is hugely reliant on consumer surveys to understand expectations so if their products aren't up to par, that only reflects on us as consumers of their products.
Missing my Jupiter while watching this .. rode it around 7 years 🥲.. I fell in love with cornering because of this scooter .. just had to upgrade the tires
This review is honest and good. There are reviewers who keep saying, enough space for 3 members, easily place a cylinder - this was pointed out responsibly.
FWIW, the "cylinder on the foot-board" is not a new thing. This was done even in the magazine 'Autocar India', circa 1996, where they had reviewed the TVS Scooty KS/ES (60 CC) vs Bajaj Spirit (maybe Saffire or Pleasure, not sure) and compared the both with the 100 CC Kinetic Honda.
Hey @poindexter2493! We won't have an opinion until we ride it... please do stay tuned. But given what's happened in the 400cc class in the past few months, at first glance, the pricing looks very optimistic for sure.
Never seen this kind of thoroughly explained video for a entry level scooter, that’s show the your commitment towards the making all kind of vehicles users feels good. 😊 keep it up.
Coming to TVS SERVICE. I’m here writing a pathetic incident at Srikant TVS, Bhadrak, Odisha. I took my Ntorq for a Fuel sensor change as it was malfunctioning. So they changed it with a Jupiter 125 fuel sensor which ended up showing false information. I was struck in mid way of highway as there was no fuel left but my scooter was showing 3-4 levels of fuel🙂. Then I went for a replacement. Instead of solving, they tried to blame us, they instead of replacing, bent the curves of the floater. Yet it wasn’t solved. Finally after lots of struggle, I got a replacement genuine part. Now my scooter works like gem. Btw mine Ntorq holds the record for the fastest stock Ntorq (BS6-Phase1) not with that led light, old Chevrolet DRL one, but with FI doing a 114 KMPH stock.
I too faced a fuel indicating censor issue in my 2009 model activa and it is showing improper information of fuel. Zero fuel was left in the tank. But the needle is showing there is more fuel In Amazon I found one gadget which will show low fuel warning light effectively. You can buy and install it
Have been a TVS customer for close to 10 Years now... The only time I faced an issue with service was when I had to replace the front fork oil seal, I had to wait for 2 days (during covid lockdown). Apart from that, all the services have been of good quality and on time. I recently even availed their free bike pick-up and drop (within 5 kms) facility for service and that was also a smooth experience.
TVS Service is always the caveat. Loved the lively and happy conversation around the scooter. Kudos to TVS for a great product. Thanks Shumi(All the sarcasm added and the smiles :))
I own 4 brands of vehicles. The TVS service experience is the worst, they are simply a bill for everything. Even a normal paid service labour charge will be 900rs
I have an Access 125 Disc variant. It is very fun to ride, Punchy, Stable and Agile. But it feels a little unstable while leaning into those long curves in city roads. When i rode the Jupiter 125 of a friend. It felt so much more confident. 12 inch wheels make a massive difference. I just hope suzuki gives it in the updated access like they did with burgman EX and not price it as obnoxiously!
I have always wondered how Shumi manages crisp white shirts while commuting to the studio on his bikes ? I always end up in office like mad max riding through Bangalore traffic
I also use jupiter which run superb. Stallionz tvs is the best dealer for purchase and service all tvs 2 wheelers. I had purchased jupiter in 2017 and still now i serviced ii in Stallionz motors service center.
Was kinda disappointed that it came out so soon after we got the Jupiter 110 2024 but after the remember all the times it has helped my family and me get things done , I do not regret it anymore.
A 100% right call. Hard seats is an automatic negative point when you try to press with your fist thinking about comfort. I admit I would prefer better foam. Then again if you say firm is better I am sure it must be so.
You are so right about tvs service center issue..!! I have owned two tvs products, apache 200 & ntorq race xp, both excellent and fun products but getting them serviced was always a pain as mostly it took around 3-4 hours and i prefer getting my vehicle serviced in front of me so that I can keep an eye. No matter how early you reach the SC after its opening, you will find 3 mopeds and 1 jupiter ahead of you in the queue 😂😂. Not the kind of treatment you will expect after buying an premium product!!
This is exactly what I was waiting to hear. Good scooter has been made better & that's a good sign & I'm always happy to see that. As usual, TVS needs to calm itself down from the urgency to showcase what it can do with tech & screens. Like we've always learnt, tech should always work in the background in helping the rider/driver & shouldn't be in the face distracting the rider/driver. Like Shumi sir said, this scooter should've come with ABS on the front wheel which would've given TVS a great marketing tool & first-in-class rider safety. Apart from the annoying start-stop system & the LCD screen, we have a good scooter & I'm happy for it. And by the way, if comparing the Activa & the Jupiter to Iron man's suites, the Activa is like the first suite he makes in the cave with scrap parts, premitive & on the other hand, the Jupiter is like the Nano suite, advanced.🙃
The issue about fuel filler is right. Always experience it with Jupiter 125. And they're right actually, fuel flowed out in 2 occasions for me when they were filling in normal speeds. Also kept the start stop in off always as it's a circus to make it work sometimes.😅
I've been owning TVSs for decades now (2002: victor gl, 2017: scooty pep+, 2023 jupiter 125) and as far as service is concerned...I havent faced any issue like the internet talks about the service experience. here in indore the dealerships are good with good service experience (Also we maintain our vehicles just like new and also service them regularly) the only issue about them is spare parts that can become a hassle for you to get OEM parts and rather multiple times I had to go to aftermarket to search for those parts and then got them installed in the service centre (they say this part isnt available...you get it from somewhere and we will install is likewise))
I guess I was one of your 1% listener based, who was listening to your podcast on Amazon Music, and was quite saddened to see the notifications for new podcast not coming in anymore. Some of us, really like to go back in time and listen into old podcasts, and maybe if you could upload your podcasts to the podcast platforms, after a given time, it's a nice time capsule. TH-cam ads are quite a pain to deal with especially if you are listening content kind, than seeing content. Still, thanks for addressing the fact as to why the podcasts weren't coming up any longer in podcast platforms.
I own jupiter 125, and its correct that the fuel lid in the front is a bit of a problem reasons 1: You cant fill it on auto (as he said) cuz the pipe through which the feul goes to the bottom of the foot area needs air to breathe otherwise the petrol comes out.....i doesnt do so if you fill it leaving some air space for the pipe 2: The tank never fills the claimed quantity (5.2 litres) and is maximum it can take is 4-4.5 litres (emply tank) He is a bit wrong at rhw start stop system tho...cuz after a halt we can switch the engine on by two ways 1: (as he said) by giving a little throttle (without brakes) 2: By pressing the original start button (this can be done (brakes need to be applied)) Overall its a wonderful scooter and my user experience has been beautiful!!
Hi @Foundation-sb5pd, thanks for sharing. Shumi's sharing how the new 110's started system works and it might be different from the one on the 125 but we'll check this when we get a test scooter for the full review.
I remember you guys hinting about something new coming up for better conversations. You guys repeating this in the past few contents. Thanks for creating some curiosity around that. Looking forward to it
I had a drive today and absolutely convinced with Shumi's review. Its smooth, comfortable, enjoyable scooter. Also it doesn't vibrate like Jupiter 125 on high speeds. Great video like Jupiter !! ♥
@@motorinc The only thing bothered me is that, when you turn on indicator there is no sound or sensation that tells you indicator is on, so you have to look at dashboard for that. It was my concern, may be not for everyone.
Very review video is a master piece with in detail discussion, i am sure the design and improvement team of manufacturers must be veiwing the videos multiple times, kudos to u, we r so lucky to have these high class videos❤
Superb 👏👏 Hi sir , I really want this kind detailed discuss for 160cc bike compare ( rtr 2v,4v/ N160/xtreme 160/ honda SP160 and other ) please sir, I can wait 4-5 months more for your video before buying. I want it for 1. Fun to ride 2. Rear seat sometimes for mom/wife 3. Mileage near ~45 4. Sometimes cruise at 70-80 km/hr 5. Should be realible enough 6. Single channel will be fine for me Thanks in advance 🙏🙏
I got Mumbai's 1st TVS Jupiter 110 Blue 💙 Top model Delivery on 25th August the Day it launched itself, Done 600kms and i must say i am happy with this Scooter,To sum it up (Perfect) Mileage in Mixed conditions (55 Kmpl) Checked with tank to tank method.
Have you guys thought about having a discord channel? I really love the community you have built and would like to get to talk to folks who know more about cars and bikes than I do. Love the channel and your content!
Under the floorboard fuel tank feels and looks convenient until you accidentally rupture the tank on speed bumps....Mahindra Flyte is a good example of this...back in 2012 I had to replace/replace my fuel tank multiple times because of scraping the bottom of my Flyte's floorboard when going over speedbumps and uneven roads causing the fuel tank to leak...
Just took a test drive of this scooter. Some kind of mild engine vibration is there. Even the showroom person said, this vibration will be there for a 110cc. Other than that power, comfort, suspension everything is good.
When my relative want to buy scooter, as i was excited so i took them to every showroom of companies like hero, tvs, suzuki except honda. But they still went for honda and got activa, obviously i hated that. But when i was at service center for my sp 125 (my father also went for honda because of service experience)at that time few guys came for service and they said that they choosed honda over tvs of their service. They should really need to improve their services.
To me the new Jupiter looks so appealing. With the DRL, torq assist, auto canceling indicators... it looks awesome. I wish TVS start making 150cc scooters some day. For me 110cc is just not powerful enough. Already squeezed all out of my Ray ZR 125 hybrid.
YES SHUMI I AGREE WITH YOU IN MANY WAYS , TVS PLAYS AROUND WITH INFOTAINMENT ON SCREEN , BUT SOLVES BIGGER PROBLEMS IN CHUTKIYO MEIN, LOKE IN WAY BACK 2017, THE RTR 200 CAME UP WITH ITS HEADLIGHT AUTOMATICALLY ON ONLY AFTER ( 1 SEC) SWITCHING ON THE ENGINE, WHICH IS STILL AN ISSUE FOR THE HONDAS.
Yes, front fuel filling is kind of sucks... Though i enjoy the space under seat. I use to advice him to fill slow little up and cautious during filling petrol. Another worst thing is that cap lock struck and I had to go to service center with petrol lid open....
Been riding Jupiter for almost 10 years now and it never disappoints. Was planning to buy a better version and you guys have already sorted that for me. Its Jupiter again. 🙂
I am not even buying a two-wheeler in the near future! And I am still here watching the entire episode! Motorinc has set the automobile review bar so high, people are here just to hear these two excellent people talk!
I have been using a Jupiter 125 for over a year. It's a great machine for commuting and running errands on. But the service experience has been not so good. At times they have been prompt but not so always. There was a problem with broken connection from the battery, leaving the entire electrical system of the scooter dead. This happened twice. The second time I was left stranded having to deal with RSA. The issue was fixed this time, but the way dealer handled it lead to me escalating it with TVS directly. This lead to some back and forth with the dealership and they finally apologized and gave me a free wash.😐 Somehow the dealership has gotten my service schedule wrong. When I receive a call for Nth service, it is actually the N+1th service by the official service history. Reported it to dealer but it's of no use. SA checks the history and does what's needed.
As an iQube owner when we were looking into a Petrol scooter for my mother we didnt even consider the Jupiter because of our experience with TVS Service and went right ahead with buying whicher the newest version of Activa was.
tbh with you, when it comes to scooters tvs service is usually fine. There bike's service experience is something that you wouldnt want, and its not like they ruin your vehicle intentionally it's just that the mechanic guy's at brands like hero, and tvs only really know how to service a commuter like tvs raider, tvs radeon, splendors so when you bring a modern machine to them like the apache's or the karizma they are dumb found and they just clean/lube the chain and change the engine oil in the name of "service", following the manual is foriegn concept to them.
One of the best automobile reviewers & reviews. Good job Motorinc. 👍🏻👌🏻 Shumi, please keep trolling the Activa.... they are still in the 'STONE AGE' 😂 KUDOS to the good video on a swadeshi two-wheeler company. Thanks for identifying of the flaws of the tech implementation. TVS should officially take Shumi as their R&D chief. You can actually make TVS a world class two-wheeler company. (....or any two-wheeler company for that matter) Your video quality, editing, studio setup are top notch. Keep educating us on the automobiles. Lot's of love & support to you guys 😍
Got my Jupiter 110 in 2023, and it's been a dream to ride. I skipped the service center and instead have it maintained by a local mechanic. Using Motul Scooter Power LE fully synthetic oil and with the rear suspension set to the stiffest, it rides super smooth. Loving the experience so far! 🏂
I have a TVS Raider...2 years experience with TVS and I have a good service experience actually, very co-operative, listens to even slightest of caveats and I have my bike set to my wants I'd say They are good at service
Great episode guys! On tvs service issue, yes it was very problematic, but credit where its due, they are improving it. My last service experience with them was surprisingly very good which was followed by a thorough feedback call. They actually went out of the way when I mentioned I was planning to go for a long ride. I was really happy. Will this be the same for all future services I can't be sure but I do hope they keep this up!
Looking forward to TVS providing Candy Crush on their display with the next update.... To entertain us while waiting at the signal or stop-go traffic!! Keep it Up!!
Hey Shumi, I have owned the TVS Raider 125 since January 2022 and have always had it serviced at the authorised service centre. My experience in the beginning was-for the lack of a better word-pathetic! But since January of this year, I've noticed a serious uptick in their service quality and promptness-and no, I did not change service centers. I recently had to get the left front fork tube replaced. My regular service centre (Indian Motors TVS Service Centre in Bellandur, Bengaluru) sent me to their sister centre nearby (Kadubeesanahalli). TVS even sent me pictures of my bike getting worked on.
@@motorinc the last time I went to the service centre, I chatted with other owners who had come for service/repair and it was mostly positive. One guy had recently bought a TVS Raider and it was his second service and he was very positive in his feedback clearly mentioning it was better than Hero - he upgraded from a Splendor.
@@motorinc amongst other owners I personally know, it has been a mixed bag of feedback - but recently, especially in Bengaluru and Guwahati, it has started improving with (paraphrased): 1. Reduced Time to get work done 2. Better Availability of Parts 3. Better trained mechanics and advisors 4. Complimentary services like free pickup and drop 5. Clear communications. I will be keeping my fingers crossed and hope these changes keep the momentum and result in a positive ownership experience.
Honestly, we've been using TVS for years, starting with the Max 100 in the early days on the outskirts of Nagpur. From there, we moved on to the Scooty Pep Plus, and for the last several years, we've been using the TVS Wego. It's served us well, from Chennai to Kerala, providing absolutely hassle-free service. Now, we're likely to upgrade to our fourth TVS, either the iQube or another Jupiter.

I've seen the new Jupiter 110 in person and in my neighborhood the no of new Jupiters are rising. And they really look awesome. It was nice steady evolution of the design TVS did with Jupiter 110.
If only Robocop needed a scooter, this would fit the bill perfect. TVS design team should take a bow. Beautiful looking scooter.

The conversation is so professional and charismatic with the background and the editing quality that it doesn't feel like they are just talking about a family scooter. Nice man, the whole team really nailed it. It's really a kind of entertainment for auto enthusiasts who have been bored by just mundane specifications.
Thanks for joining us @Ficonomy, we'll pass on your compliments to the entire team.
Thanks for letting us know Mayank! Glad you're enjoying your riding!
Team, when you will try Simple One electric scooter?

I am ex Jupiter 110 and current Jupiter 125 owner,
- Issue about fuel filler cap is true.
Thanks for sharing @TrapSwap, helps!
I have also faced lock and switch gear related issues.
Recently sold the jawa classic, and repaired an old access just enough to get it running. easy nature of this scooter makes the office commute so fun. Indian scooters are probably the best version of the scooters. So light, easy, simple and dependable. The frugal thinking makes sometimes the most practical products.
Old access is one of the best scooters you can get.

I got a used Wego 2015 recently. I always had a perception that scooters are just functional. And I guess they still are, but I was surprised how well TVS was able to nail Wego. Tvs did a really good job with the Wego, and its a pretty looking underrated scooter.
Absolutely!
I have a 12years old white wego and i love it😊❤
They took everything that they learnt from the Wego, made it better & put into the Jupiter which is why it's the second best selling scooter in our country.
I am another Wego owner, 12+ years hardly any major issue, TVS service center can be horror according to area as well.
We have a 2014 Wego 1st gen and its still better than Hero Duet that dad bought some 5 years ago.
I love the engine and how it rides. Looks sleek.

Hope the townfolks will learn the easyway to stop doing that.

Cheers!

I think TVS is making an effort to improve their service.
I own a Ntorq and have received feedback calls a week after each of my last two services to check if everything went well.
During the last call, I mentioned a side-stand sensor issue that wasn’t resolved during the service, and they fixed it for free the next day.
Glad to hear that @RandomGuy-rz1kq
yesterday we had an family talk about how we should replace our 7 year old Activa 3g and i suggested Jupiter 110 . and now shumi and kartik uploaded this video. Are you guys watching me from some kind of monitor 😅

Bro which one is better smartconnect 125cc or 110cc??
Very engaging video! Loved it!
I sold my apache rtr 160 4v in about 5 months partly because of how the service centre treated me. I didn’t want to be associated with something where my money was not valued. When a customer buys a product the company is forever in debt to that customer and they oath to treat him/her better. Without customers it’s only a matter of time before that company goes bankrupt.
PS: i made a promise to myself there wont be a tvs product in my house ever again no matter how good it is.
Thank you for sharing your experience @shonith91
Confirming that if you open the throttle an activa does move forward. It can also go right and left. And slow down. Very versatile scooter.
Lol😂
Using the word versatile very generously there @RoktimBhattacharjya811 😆
This guy says vibration is still there with new Jupiter... Self Goal 🤣
Thanks for sharing @pradmad
I'm only a quarter of the way through the episode and I'm loving how savage Shumi is about the Activa! I rode hired Activas recently on a holiday and they felt so underwhelming. None of the rental places I went to had anything else available, so I couldn't compare the Activa to anything else. I would've loved to have a Jupiter or even a Scooty Pep for comparison.
I guess it makes sense for rental agencies though. The Activa will run regardless of how badly customers abuse it, and a bad but always running scooter is more profitable than a good scooter that needs regular service.
I have booked this scooter for my big sis. Haven’t told anybody yet. Can’t wait for delivery 🎉
Thanks for sharing @sumuqh! That sounds like a nice surprise to get, good luck! 😊
Finally, the one I have been waiting for......thank you!!!!
Thanks for your patience Anand!
I like how putting the cylinder on the floorboard is a point of discussion. You know, sometimes there are just emergencies, and you have to do what you must do.
If you say so. If we were to have to carry a cylinder, emergency or not, a two-wheeler is the least safe option
Awesome awesome awesome! That's so so good to read, @allaboutclash! Best of luck and feel free to ask for help if you need it!

Just a small question, if we don't need kick starter then why TVS is giving it in base and mid variant and not on top variant?
To give people options @TyroneYT31, just go through the comments here, there are many people who still believe that it's necessary...

But the needle is showing there is more fuel
In Amazon I found one gadget which will show low fuel warning light effectively.

I've been owning TVSs for decades now (2002: victor gl, 2017: scooty pep+, 2023 jupiter 125) and as far as service is concerned...I havent faced any issue like the internet talks about the service experience. here in indore the dealerships are good with good service experience (Also we maintain our vehicles just like new and also service them regularly)
the only issue about them is spare parts that can become a hassle for you to get OEM parts and rather multiple times I had to go to aftermarket to search for those parts and then got them installed in the service centre (they say this part isnt available...you get it from somewhere and we will install is likewise))
I own jupiter 125, and its correct that the fuel lid in the front is a bit of a problem reasons
1: You cant fill it on auto (as he said) cuz the pipe through which the feul goes to the bottom of the foot area needs air to breathe otherwise the petrol comes out.....i doesnt do so if you fill it leaving some air space for the pipe
2: The tank never fills the claimed quantity (5.2 litres) and is maximum it can take is 4-4.5 litres (emply tank)
He is a bit wrong at rhw start stop system tho...cuz after a halt we can switch the engine on by two ways
1: (as he said) by giving a little throttle (without brakes)
2: By pressing the original start button (this can be done (brakes need to be applied))
Overall its a wonderful scooter and my user experience has been beautiful!!

TVS designing team is bringing some really awesome and unconventional designs to the market. Kudos to the team.
Thank you for choosing one platform :)

This lead to some back and forth with the dealership and they finally apologized and gave me a free wash.😐
Somehow the dealership has gotten my service schedule wrong. When I receive a call for Nth service, it is actually the N+1th service by the official service history. Reported it to dealer but it's of no use. SA checks the history and does what's needed.
Service is the biggest issue with TVS
Thanks for sharing @ab.anand2092 we can only hope that TVS fixes their service on priority.

My first scooter in my life, in a very near future. Thanks Shumi bhai😊

One of the best automobile reviewers & reviews. Good job Motorinc. 👍🏻👌🏻 Shumi, please keep trolling the Activa.... they are still in the 'STONE AGE' 😂
KUDOS to the good video on a swadeshi two-wheeler company. Thanks for identifying of the flaws of the tech implementation. TVS should officially take Shumi as their R&D chief. You can actually make TVS a world class two-wheeler company. (....or any two-wheeler company for that matter)
Your video quality, editing, studio setup are top notch. Keep educating us on the automobiles. Lot's of love & support to you guys 😍
Thank you for joining us @raghavendrapujar909! We'll pass on your compliments to the entire team.
Thanks for sharing @mukulmaurya3033
I have a TVS Raider...2 years experience with TVS and I have a good service experience actually, very co-operative, listens to even slightest of caveats and I have my bike set to my wants
I'd say They are good at service
Thanks @nitinmohan1804, please share the dealer's name so others living nearby can make use of them too.

Thanks for the detailed review.. should i buy tvs Jupiter 110 or activa 110 for better suspension and comfort and durable..please suggest
We'd pick the Jupiter @chandrasekharreddy189! Please take a test ride of both to see how you feel.
Thanks @pawankulkarni5811!
Scooter looks and this analysis are are a joy for both eyes 👀 and ears 👂
Thank you for joining us @veereshmeti1
Don't have much to discuss about the family scooter... goes on for 42 minutes.. 😍🙏
😅
Looking forward to TVS providing Candy Crush on their display with the next update.... To entertain us while waiting at the signal or stop-go traffic!! Keep it Up!!
Oh lord! We hope not @prasadmayekar8189
That's encouraging to hear @minakdaspriya4362. Is this an experience you're hearing from other TVS owners that you know too?
@@motorinc the last time I went to the service centre, I chatted with other owners who had come for service/repair and it was mostly positive. One guy had recently bought a TVS Raider and it was his second service and he was very positive in his feedback clearly mentioning it was better than Hero - he upgraded from a Splendor.
@@motorinc amongst other owners I personally know, it has been a mixed bag of feedback - but recently, especially in Bengaluru and Guwahati, it has started improving with (paraphrased):
1. Reduced Time to get work done
2. Better Availability of Parts
3. Better trained mechanics and advisors
4. Complimentary services like free pickup and drop
Thanks for sharing @sumitthilak2814, glad to hear that!
