Hey, New Jersey here as well! This is my first day with Optavia. I watched this last night to get myself set up with my first five meals and I found it extremely helpful. I loved that you were using products from the same supermarkets I shop at just to make it that much easier. Thank you so much for making this, I can’t wait to jump in!
Hey Mr. NJ!! Congratulations on starting such a wonderful journey, how are you doing so far? I know I’m a little late responding to your comment which I apologize for.
I’m on day 41 and down 13 lbs with about 17 to go. I haven’t cheated and followed it to the letter. I find while it works for weight loss it’s extremely difficult to eat every 2-3 hours (I know that is what we are supposed to do to lose weight). Plus, I’m still hungry all the time. I will see it through until I reach my goal weight, but no one should sustain a calorie deficit diet any longer than needed.

@@feliciannurse HI there!! I wanted to let you know I tried the lasagna recipe with the spaghetti squash!! OMG!!! This was so easy and good!! I cannot wait to make it again. Thank you for making it and giving clear direction on the recipe. I was so intimated to make spaghetti squash before and now I will for sure make it again and it tastes amazing!!
I would put the mushrooms under the broiler for a few minutes to get a little char. Looks so good. Thanks for the ideas. I look forward to your Optavia videos.

Tell me about cooking those mushrooms in the air fryer. Do I do anything to prep them? Just clean them and cook them plain for how long and at what setting?
I did a portobello cap, mixed together crab meat, scallions, one wedge lite laughing cow, in air fryer. Soooo yummy!!!!

I'm new to the air fryer what temperature and how long do you cook the mushrooms? I also saw you cook eggplant what's the temperature and time on those I tried cooking my mushrooms and they looked like they were drying out

Wow!! Awesome video! On the spaghetti squash lasagna recipe, can you substitute zucchini or another squash? It all looks wonderful and I am awaiting my first package of Optavia so I am nervous and excited.
What I loved about this video aside from you doing an awesome job demonstrating your process is that all of the ingredients and brands used I’ve seen locally. Before I got to the end of the video I said to myself that you must be from Jersey! Lol. BTW, you have a new subscriber!

This video was just amazing. Love your matter of fact presentation and creativity. Being a home cook I really admired the variety and the use of items that make the recipes exciting. I plan to try all of these recipes because some of the ingredients I've not eaten before - eggplant being one of them. I'm excited to begin this journey and am starting Optavia this upcoming week - most likely the 4-2-1 plan due to age and some health concerns, Thank you very much for being to down to earth - I really appreciate what you have done!! I tried Optavia. I was starving all the time. When I ate the lean and green meals twice a day, skipping breakfast save for a butter coffee, I lost weight and didn’t feel nearly as hungry.
I’m on keto now for several reasons, one of them was exactly as you described
The spaghetti lasagna looks amazing! I am getting a little tired of chicken and salads or chicken and broccoli or other veggies. I'm not a seafood eater so this is going to be my Sunday LG meal. Can't wait to try it.

This was so good! I'm waiting for my first box of Optavia. I tried doing MACROS before this. Didn't work for me...so many calories and I wasn't good at measuring the food out. What are your thoughts on Macros vs Optavia?

Hi. I am new & will be starting my journey on Monday, I've never done anything like this so I'm excited and also nervous. This maybe a dumb question, but we need to weigh 5 oz of cooked meat ( does that mean you have to book a bunch) and then measure??

@@feliciannurse Excellent, such a good demonstration. I use the scale, too, but, I weigh one thing, take it off, weigh another thing, take it off. I love this idea of zeroing it out and then adding more things to the same dish.
I was wandering if you can use a smaller pan , like an 8x8 instead of the 9x12 to make it thicker ?

It's just me so 4 servings of spaghetti squash lasagna is so much. I'm doing 4-2 plan so I could eat 1/lunch and 1 supper. Could other 2 be frozen? Or...can I use 1/2 squash and shred/freeze other half?

Newbie here so be gentle… you said the squash weighted out to 310 grams, about 4 cups. I switched my scale to grams and 310 grams wasn’t even a full cup? Also, can you explain your breakdown? Used 99% turkey(leanest) should be 5-7 oz per serving? The squash is one green, Raos sauce 1 green, isn’t that short a green? And counting ricotta & mozzarella as you’re 2 health fats?
How many grams of Velveeta do you put on your turkey burgers?

Hi thinking of starting this program a little nervous. I am lactose intolerant and a lot of these products of dairy in them. I was told that with the vitamins and everything else in them i should be fine but this worries me ... I was going to take lactate with it and enzymes but I don’t want to be in pain with my stomach... thoughts?

So delicious! I want to try them all! I am a new member with Optavia,my kitchen is getting remodeled so I eat out a lot. I get chicken skewers all the time what other fats and what other sides I can have. I get stuck with the measuring. I have all of my sugar free bbq sauces that switch up the taste😓
