Before I bought my HRPB I was up in the air between the gigboard, the Stomp and the Helix LT and in the end it came down to the pedal board and it wasn't about sound directly. It had to do with how quickly I could edit on the fly. Different rooms are all different sounding and the HRPB with it's hands free editing was reason 1a. Reason 1b was simple. The more videos I saw comparing all the units the more I saw the Helix and Stomp users tweaking sounds but the HR players were playing more. In other words because of that big screen it was quicker and easier to get a workable rig in about 10 seconds doing nothing more than what you'd do on a tablet. I might do a Stomp later as we come out of this virus thing but it would be just more of a backup thing if my HR went down and I needed to get through a gig. BTW your clean tones when you were looping were excellent.
Very informative. I have both units. Was thinking about letting go of the gig board as I like the sounds on the HX stomp better. But his video might have convinced me to keep both :)
looking for a fly rig to replace a pedal board. I am renting an HX stomp XL - I like the sounds and the size and weight, dont like how I run out of DSP alot, any thoughts post 3.5?
I use the HR pedalbord with a Boss OD-200, which is sort of both digital and analog i guess. The HR now has a good selection of drive/distortion pedals (not near the Line 6 stuff, but still...). I mostly use the OD-200 over the "built inn pedals". The HR takes the OD-200 realy well. The OD-200 stacks as well. The result is very good in my opinion. The fact that the effects loop is only mono, does not matter when only haveing drives inn it.
@@sturla72 I got a Strymon Iridium, it's amazing, sounds great with pedals and the fact that it's small makes it a part of my pedalboard, not a separate thing :) Still, good to know that HR takes them well :)
Hello Johnnathan from Spain. Your opinión please, if you want to buy today a digital multieffects, in similar price in Spain, AX8, HELIX FLOOR, HEADRUSH OR FM3? And WHY?. THANKS
I think you'll struggle to get hold of an FM3 for a while, but might be able to get an AX8 cheapish? The helix I think wins in terms of user interface? Tbh you'll probably get good results from the Fractal/Helix stuff!
i like the headrush but i have never used it but i have a helix lt, its really good bro, but you will get it and think its not good but thats cause your a guitar player, you will want it to sound like an amp, it sounds like an amp micd up, and you will not know what that sounds like so you will think it doesn't sound good, but it sounds legit like a real amp micd up, its so close its ridiculous.

Thank You Jonathan that’s pretty informative and supportive.
Cool I found Waldo and he plays guitar very good.. who knew?
He's called Wally in the UK!
LoL that’s fucked up
What do you think of the Headrush MX5, compared to the HX Stomp?
Wow, the Headrush is way bigger than I thought it would be!
Same!

After the crazy update, do you think the Stomp blows the Headrush out of the water?
If it doesn't have a good variety of drive pedals, the question is
how it takes analog drive pedals.
If you are talking about the hesdrush, it takes them amazingly good

If you could only have one which would it be?
Not sure at this stage!
@Billy Ellison are looping and pitch shifting important to you? Or are delays reverbs and drives?
@Billy Ellison I'd say Hx stomp wins for reverbs and delays for my preferences, whereas the looper on the headrush is more useful
@Billy Ellison the software is optional, you don't need to purchase it.
I play worship, so what modeller better today ?
Dude, you owe me 19 minutes and 53 seconds
Argh! You still have the plastic covering the screen on the hx stomp! Haha

@@johnnathancordy Do you think there are in ax8 the same power and sounds to fm3?, because the ax8 is older. THANKS

Older people! You're the one wearing spectacles !
Where’s Wally ?
He's very late to the party
Witch has better quality Effects (reverbs and delays) and witch is more real amp feel like?
For reverbs HR it's better, because comes from the creator of a DAW and they know pretty well how to model them
RC-50 > any other looper
Hmm I find the big boss loopers too much to be honest!
