This guy is SchiacciSempre / Always Mash. He can pick up any character and play it on a high level in just a few days. He's also a piano teacher. How cool is that.
aStoner Darkly no. Using the same opener, but Ex DP into misogi with trigger 2 does upwards of about 330 damage where this combo does about 180. The fact you can do it slightly more often is not a good counter argument
The Observer dude both people who commented before me are incorrect and I don't understand how since the character has been out long enough that they should know this by now. Lol Kage isn't Ryu. He's Ryu's Satsu No Hado taken form after it was released from his body at the end of the game's main story. Basically all of his evil intent took shape. It and Ryu are two separate beings, while Evil Ryu was Ryu under the influence of the Satsu No Hado and Oni was Akuma using the full power of the Satsu No Hado. Kage as his name implies (Kage means Shadow) is merely a "shadow" of what Ryu's evil power would have been if he had given into it.

The people who made the character outright explained it is not. You're wasting your time trying to debate with me as if you watch the introduction video they made when Kage came out within the first 30 seconds they state that it is Ryu's Satsu No Hado taken physical form, but not actually Ryu himself. If you played the game you would know that Ryu no longer has the Satsu No Hado and after he rejected it from his body Kage was formed from that released evil energy. Go back and watch that.
To honest that Rashid win that one he had opportunities to hit him with a ultra. But people is be scared as they see Grandmaster or Ultimate Grandmaster or Warlord. Them is think if I don't hit him with ultra I won't be disrespectful is a game everyone want to win. They all start from the bottom like us. People have to stop being afraid and win . That Rashid win that match. The Kage player play awesome but the other player had the opportunities to win

There was vtrigger activation scaling, thats why it did such low damage. I do agree though that Kage needs some damage buffs
