The Avro FC burger was definitely a hard one to get your mouth around. I'd hate to think of the midnight and morning visit to the bog. It's definitely an earth-shattering, unwanted explosion in the early hours and definitely a Dambuster.
For those of you who don't know, Avro FC is the works team of the Avro aircraft factory a few miles away. Lancaster Bombers were the most famous aircraft made there. So "Dambuster" is a reference to the mission to blow up a big dam in Germany in 1943. And the late-night explosion is a reference to the Dresden Bombings in 1945.
Apologies to the relatives of the 25,000 who died. But football, it's a funny old game. 😮🤔 🍔
