Mulsims lost technically because commander were dying again and again until Khalid bin Waleed (ra) was the commander and he retreated and separated some of the forces, changed the banners, and broght them from other sides and to the Byzantines it looked like they were getting reinforcements and they fleed away but that was just a trick to win war.
