Jackie maribe should have been jailed for being an accessory to hiding the crime
but a judge cannot introduce a new charge that was not charged by prosecutors. DPP messed up by missing to include some charges.
There is no where in the evidence where it shows she was aware her then fiancee had presumably committed a crime, I would agree with you if we have seen evidence that she was aware he had committed the crime, she lied to authorities about the gun injury and it was said he shot himself when she threw out his clothes after a disagreement. I cannot speculate if he staged the disagreement to shoot himself.

The motive was money. It's self explanatory the guy needed money to establish a security firm and that Monica had in plenty that fateful day kwanza in cash(dollar's)

What evidence does Citizen tv , television is a business and stories are sensationalized for viewership. Always thinking corruption has corrupted minds. I started watching this case when it was under justice Wakiaga and I have followed the proceedings for all those years and I don't believe I saw any shortcuts.

Watch Obina TV. There's a guy who was convicted of violence with robbery and was sentenced to death coz he pleaded guilty for a crime he knew nothing about.

I have never watched this channel before but I have been following this case for a long time so I am looking at all commentary on the verdict after watching the judgement twice. As someone who watches documentaries of true crime genre, this outcome of this case was very predictable to me if judged without bias which I believe to be the case. It become even more clear when I listened to the submissions of the 1st accused: "I did not know Monica" yet there is electronic footprints to the contrary: "I had my own car so I didn't need to use hers": How about all those people that saw you drive her car and drop her off to work and take off with it? What car did you have and what is the registration number? "The shorts were not mine": If you noticed the judge did not go into details on the forensic testing, could it be that the 1st accused's DNA was on the shorts?
Lets talk about the 2nd accused not being "the brightest star in the sky", it is my presumption that she did not know anything about the homicide so when her then fiancee told her what to say at the police station she went with. Suffice to say that Brian, the gun owner was also not the brightest star in the sky either because he went with the 1st accused's lie about how he got injured yet he knows or maybe not a good investigation of a crime involves forensics to establish what kind of weapon was used? Furthermore who lends an unlicensed friend a gun no matter the excuse or their experience with guns, that is like lending someone your child for them to pretend they have one but at the end of the day the owner has sole responsibility ( I hope his gun license was withdrawn!).
The prosecution did not give a motive for the homicide and according to your commentary you said people assumed it was theft but could it have been rejection? It is my observation that the 1st accused attached/attaches himself to financially able women (remember after he was bailed out he got with Eleanor Musangi). My thinking is there could also have been a sexual crime committed because why leave the body in a bathtub with water running? To wash away evidence?
If the state were to file a misdemeanor case against the 2nd accused in my opinion it may not land her in jail because of the lengthy time taken to conclude the wrongful accusation (as acknowledged during judgement). It seems to me that the prosecution errored in combining the two cases into one when seemingly 2nd accused had an airtight alibi as to her whereabouts on the day of the homicide and had no known knowledge of the deceased who the 1st accused referred to as his girlfriend (how can you have a girlfriend and a fiancee simultaneously?). It is my opinion that the 2nd occurrence may have been connected for the 1st accused but for the 2nd accused it was a standalone occurrence. She may also sue they state for wrongful accusation and detention, lost career and income.
I totally don't agree with anyone who accuses this judge of feminism, she was very clear as to how she judged the case. Also don't agree 1st was stealing to please anyone there is no merit in such a notion. Sorry for the lengthy post, I was looking for an avenue to spill this out!

She is said to have been a hardworking, successful, ordinary person What could have been the motive for that ???? Why was there all that extra hatred to deprive a person of their only life ???

Good analysis but point of correction
1, The guy giving the guna wasn't dumb we could only say he was dumb if he gave the gun with registered bullets of which he gave an empty gun hoping his friend was going for practice, there's no difference between giving a gun and a car to a friend both can cause death.
2, Jackie was acting out of love and fear otherwise we don't know if Jowie also threatened to kill her..
3, Jackie was used to high luxury kind of life and jowie knowing he had bitten more than he could chew he had to anything he could to maintain her status.
